You got me there...your links speak for themselves.
...you put your money where your mouth is and that's admirable.
ditto to you. I'm surprised there weren't any others who did side bets or anything, not even $$$ related. and no matter who wins tomorrow, we're still stuck with MS & crew. I'd gladly put down $ 500 to have them gone. |

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
I guess I can't talk about stupid bets I have a running bet with a buddy thats $100 per season that either Dallas or Skins sweep the series. I think I have won once in the past 10 yrs and he has won like 5 times. The bet was $50 per game but its a wash if they split so thats how we came up with the bet.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
Here in our part of VA I hear voting turn out is very high.
|
Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
This is the first year in WA where voting is via mail. They do have a few polling places in certain counties for Senior Citizens and people who didn't get their ballots. We won't know the real results for a few weeks but we know the results...this is Blue Country!
WASHINGTON — For his first annual budget next week, President Obama has banned four accounting gimmicks that President George W. Bush used to make deficit projections look smaller. The price of more honest bookkeeping: A budget that is $2.7 trillion deeper in the red over the next decade than it would otherwise appear, according to administration officials. The latest on President Obama, the new administration and other news from Washington and around the nation. Join the discussion. The new accounting involves spending on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Medicare reimbursements to physicians and the cost of disaster responses. But the biggest adjustment will deal with revenues from the alternative minimum tax, a parallel tax system enacted in 1969 to prevent the wealthy from using tax shelters to avoid paying any income tax. What leadership.
I think he was being funny bro. Romney claimed credit for the Patriots super bowls and the Red Sox championships. He too was being funny. |

90K lead in Ohio for Obama with early results.
Something wierd just happened. I am 99% sure that it was a 90k lead for Romney, not Obama. The comments seemed to reinforce that too, but i thought i was mistaken based off of your comment. Now the article is removed. Clicked on it. Saw Romeny ahead by 90k. Clicked back here to check your comment again. Clicked back and it was gone. |

^ Weve all seen old people use touch screens in the grocery store. Why would anyone think this is a viable instrument to use in an election???

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
So... I parked next to a car in my parking lot at home. The car was parked about 1.5 feet from the concrete block that most people pull up to, and the back was full of VOTE 2012: HELLO KITTY. I honestly wanted to stake out the situation just to see who owned it...
Also, saw this on reddit and laughed! |
