Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie

I just want us to do either really good or really bad cause I want us to either make the playoffs or get sam bradford. That way you all can see what a good NFL QB looks like. Campbell is NOT THE ANSWER. NOR IS ZORN. You know campbell sucks when the Broncos take Kyle Orton over him.
Well, your line above your avatar says Todd Collins. Why is that? You really think with the way our O-line leaks that Collins would last even one game? Campbell's legs are keeping him out of the hospital right now. Collins would be dead meat. My grandmother can outrun that dude. But you are obviously advocating him as the starter. Bad choice.
Too funny. I think she can probably outrun Phillip Rivers, I just saw him scramble at the speed of a turtle.

So you still want us to do bad. Great fan you are.

Yeah, because Kyle Orton has looked awesome thus far. His only play worth a shit today was on a phenomenal RAC by Brandon Marshall.

Then stop watching. See, problem solved. Now we both can stop being annoyed.:oink:

I think his point was that Orton sucks and the Broncos still chose him over Campbell. But let's be honest, some guys are not a good fit for certain systems, and Denver wants a guy who just doesn't lose the game for them (which probably says more about Cutler than it does Orton or Campbell).

Orton is 9th in the league in passer rating right now. Yet his attempts per game is 25th. /shrug

Seems like Orton is making a name for himself right now, 15-7 as a starter I believe. That's really a tired argument though, and I wish campbell haters would stop using behind the scene trade rumors as somehow damning evidence of Campbell. It's kinda old.

Let Campbell play! Let him show what he can do! Zorn needs to cut him loose a little bit. Aside from the NY game he has played well IMHO.

Right so I'm saying that he isn't good. Look, if snyderatto wanted to get cutler (better than campbell, thus far) and Sanchez (rookie with worse receivers than campbell, and better record than campbell) and Denver didn't want Campbell, theres obviously something that the NFL see's in Campbell that all you campbell supporters don't. After watching the first 4 games I can say I've seen enough of Campbell to say that he doesn't fit this offense/ isnt as far ahead as we thought he'd be considering this is the first time he's played in the same offense for more than one year since highschool

Great, will this mean you'll stop following the Skins and wishing them to do bad?

Again, there's a simple answer. Don't watch again until next season, maybe we'll have another QB then. Until that point, Campbell is our QB so either learn to deal with it or don't but please spare us your 5 cent analysis after every game.

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie
I'll take a recent elite defensive player with a superbowl rings opinion over most others any day of the week.

I don't see how you can actually watch Cutler and Campbell play and think theyre equal. Theyre most certainly not. And Josh McDaniels, a guy who coached the best QB in the league, a guy who knows more about QBs than anyone here wanted Kyle Orton over Jason Campbell. If that's not damning for Campbell, then I dont know what is.

As to Sanchez, the Jets have far less talent on Offense than we do. That, combined with the fact that he's a rookie, makes his performance that more impressive. I'm impressed when i watch him and I respect Trent Diflers opinion on QBs and he's very high on Sanchez. In 5 years, or whenever Manning and Brady retire, Sanchez will be one of the top 3 QBs in the league. No, we were not in a position to draft him, but we should have tried harder to put ourselves in a position to be. Now we're gonna be stuck drafting one of the overrated QBs in the 2010 draft. On the bright side, atleast whoever we hire to replace Zorn will get to pick his own QB.
I don't get your fascination with Rodney Harrison. The guy has been an NFL analyst all of four weeks and now he's suddenley the Jason Campbell expert? If Super Bowl rings are the new standard for valuing one's opinion, then I'm sure there are a few people out there with Super Bowl rings that think very highly of Jason Campbell. In fact, a guy name Joe Gibbs who has three of them comes to mind. But I digress.

You're entitled to your critique of Jason Campbell. Is he one of the top tier QBs in the league right now, probably not. But the quarterbacks that are have a strong supporting cast from top to bottom, my friend. I submit that Jason Campbell is doing much more with less.

And for all the Campbell haters calling for Todd Collins to come in, you need your head checked if you don't think Collins gets sacked at least four or five times today.

It's funny how people say "well Denver didn't want Campbell and took Orton"...well newsflash, they didn't want Cutler either. It's obvious that Darth Hoody Jr. wanted his own QB, and talent hasn't much to do with it, otherwise he would have kept Cutler.

I don't know why these JC haters think some of us are arguing that Campbell is an elite QB. My beef with these haters is that...

- They think Campbell is the only problem in this team
- Want to blame him for losing a game (which he hasn't)
- Attack him when he does well
- And think everything he does well is luck.

I want for Campbell to be a game manager QB. Our team is supposed to have a good running game and defense that just needs an average QB to win. In the past couple of games, Campbell has been a bit above average, but our "strengths" haven't been there, hence the two losses.

In this game, our running game was there in the second half and our defense stepped things up. Campbell almost lost this game by having those turnovers, but he threw two TDs. If he doesn't throw those two TDs, he loses the game for us and the haters get their argument win. He didn't lose the game, so the haters get a disappointment and now must wait another week until their dream of the Jason Campbell breakdown becomes a reality.

Re: Campbell's numbers dont lie

No, I'm still gonna watch us lose, just so I can go on these threads and hear all this campbell supporters above my post not say anything on sundays when we're sucking against whatever bad team we're playing, throwing picks or staying on one receiver the whole time, or always finishing one yard shy of the first or missing open receivers. Plus I want us to get a good QB next year in the draft, simply because I can tell you all with confidence that JC won't be here next year nor will Zorn. Shannahan will draft Sam Bradford, Jevan snead, or tim tebow.
