Next time you are in Charm City visit here if you haven't already. It is right around the corner from Camden Yards. https://baberuthmuseum.org/

Re: MLB thread
Rays are fun to watch. Randy Arozarena is a stud. I hate seeing Rays go deep into playoffs though because their stadium is just a dive and part of the fun of baseball is the stadium designs. I think for the AL if I could take the Rays and force them to play all their playoff games to Fenway after they sweep the Sox that would be ideal.

If the goal was to build the most generic and boring AF stadium as possible mission accomplished. First time I went there I was amazed it was a MLB park. |

IMO Tropicana is in a class by itself. At least Oakland Coliseum has history. |

This was the best fan game day experience I’ve ever had when I went a couple years ago..From the free shuttling from close hotels, to the surrounding activities and events around the stadium, the pre game live-walk right up the booth where ex mlbers are live on tv…shops and food. Not too expensive either-got ipa tall boys for like 7 outside on the street. The stadium is small and intimate…you are up on the action. The lighting in the stadium and angle of the viewpoints it’s wild, I love that. Big airy stadiums..dinosaurs to me, too far away from the action. Anybody who loves baseball, you gotta go to the Braves new stadium. |

Arozarena is an absolute stud. Total Yankee killer. And I hate him. |
Re: MLB thread
The Rays franchise is just mind blowing. Ugly stadium, no money, no fans. But somehow good every damn year. If a team with any money could clone their decision making process they would win the world series regularly.

Well they fell off for a while when Cash took over. But he righted the ship last couple years. Maddon really turned them around. Always have good gm’s too. Yeah they are amazing for what they got. Rooting for them to win it all. |
Re: MLB thread
Shitty stadium aside, you can't beat taking a vacation in the Clearwater area and hitting the park for a game and downing a few Jai Alai IPAs. Love those beaches down there.

Re: MLB thread
What a great way to bookend the weekend with four playoff games.

Re: MLB thread
Damn, can't believe the Phillies poached Kevin Long from the Nats staff.
If there was one coach worth retaining, it was him. |
living in MA I also hated how they didn't sell alcohol in grocery stores, you had to go to a "package store" where they sold booze. And those stores were closed on Sundays so you better stock up in advance or you were shit outta luck.
Reminds me of this absolute classic. [yt]SQoTlVgmPK8[/yt] VA is the same way, gotta go to the ABC stores for booze. |
