No Shit Sherlock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
https://www.newsweek.com/trump-afraid-visit-war-zone-combat-people-want-kill-him-report-1224081 President Donald Trump has told aides and White House officials that he was afraid to visit U.S. troops in war zones, because he didn't back the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. “He’s never been interested in going,” one unnamed former senior White House official told The Washington Post. “He’s afraid of those situations. He’s afraid people want to kill him.” ............of course people want to kill him, he's the president of the United States! :banghead: |

Lolol
I'm not happy about it either but first impression is she tried to see if there was any opponent that could realistically beat Pelosi and found that support for it isn't what it seems. In which case you have two moves: Fight this thing to the death (and waste time on infighting when we all know infighting will only hurt their cause) or get it over with and focus on unifying the party. If the support's not there it ain't there. |
Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
Speaking of shams and jokes, I'm really glad the admin decided to release that 4 year climate report yesterday when there wouldn't be anything else to draw people's attention away.
What's that you say? The WaPo is a joke and totally uncredible? Fine. Let's go right to the source: https://nca2018.globalchange.gov/ Oh look, they even made a convenient "Summary Findings" tab to make it easier for us non-science lovers. https://nca2018.globalchange.gov/#sf-1 Let's pull a quick paragraph to see if there's anything we can understand. How about the first one?
1. Communities Climate change creates new risks and exacerbates existing vulnerabilities in communities across the United States, presenting growing challenges to human health and safety, quality of life, and the rate of economic growth. The impacts of climate change are already being felt in communities across the country. More frequent and intense extreme weather and climate-related events, as well as changes in average climate conditions, are expected to continue to damage infrastructure, ecosystems, and social systems that provide essential benefits to communities. Future climate change is expected to further disrupt many areas of life, exacerbating existing challenges to prosperity posed by aging and deteriorating infrastructure, stressed ecosystems, and economic inequality. Impacts within and across regions will not be distributed equally. People who are already vulnerable, including lower-income and other marginalized communities, have lower capacity to prepare for and cope with extreme weather and climate-related events and are expected to experience greater impacts. Prioritizing adaptation actions for the most vulnerable populations would contribute to a more equitable future within and across communities. Global action to significantly cut greenhouse gas emissions can substantially reduce climate-related risks and increase opportunities for these populations in the longer term.
Really, this is my major problem with the Trump admin. Everything else he does, all the executive actions he signs, everything he does without going through Congress can be reversed. But loosening laws and allowing the major polluting companies free reign to do whatever they want is only speeding up this runaway train we call global warming. |

Turning into a Bad week for trump.
https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/experts-agree-robert-mueller-just-played-donald-trump-like-a-fiddle/ President Donald Trump‘s longtime lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty on Thursday to making several false statements in front of Congress. During an early morning appearance at a downtown Manhattan courthouse, Cohen admitted to making intentionally false statements about several matters related to Trump’s business dealings. This turn of events suggests that Robert Mueller intentionally leveled a surprise attack against the 45th president of the United States. |

Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
Even I will admit that it's Buzzfeed so I will take it with a grain of salt but if this is true . Trumps is done ,yes collusion .
https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/anthonycormier/the-trump-organization-planned-to-give-vladimir-putin-the The Trump Organization Planned To Give Vladimir Putin The $50 Million Penthouse In Trump Tower Moscow During the presidential campaign, Michael Cohen discussed the matter with a representative of Putin’s press secretary, according to two US sources. President Donald Trump’s company planned to give a $50 million penthouse at Trump Tower Moscow to Russian President Vladimir Putin as the company negotiated the luxury real estate development during the 2016 campaign, according to four people, one of them the originator of the plan. Two US law enforcement officials told BuzzFeed News that Michael Cohen, Trump’s personal lawyer at the time, discussed the idea with a representative of Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s press secretary. The Trump Tower Moscow plan is at the heart of a new plea agreement by Cohen, who led the negotiations to bring a gleaming, 100-story building to the Russian capital. Cohen acknowledged in court that he had lied to Congress about the plan in order to protect Trump and his presidential campaign. The revelation that representatives of the Trump Organization planned to forge direct financial links with the leader of a hostile nation at the height of the campaign raises fresh questions about President Trump's relationship with the Kremlin. The plan never went anywhere because the tower deal ultimately fizzled, and it is not clear whether Trump knew of the intention to give away the penthouse. But Cohen said in court documents that he regularly briefed Trump and his family on the Moscow negotiations. |

Don't worry, I'm sure they'll find a reason to say Cohen was acting independently. Obviously Cohen was planning on building a luxury skyscraper in Russia and was going to personally give Putin the $50 mil condo as a gift for Cohen's own interests. He's trying to pin Trump as the fall guy. Sad! |

yeah, haven't seen anything on the front page...right now there is a blurb of Macron approaching the Saudi Prince on the left. But you would think the worst riots in 50 years in Paris would garner more attention. But also the article you link is rife with fake news which seems to protect Macron...from the article: The protests were initially conceived in response to rising fuel prices. The cost of diesel has surged 16% this year from an average 1.24 euros ($1.41) per liter to 1.48 euros ($1.69), even hitting 1.53 euros in October, according to UFIP, France's oil industry federation. The price hike is largely caused by a leap in the wholesale price of oil, with Brent crude oil -- a benchmark for worldwide oil purchases -- increasing by more than 20% in the first half of 2018 from around $60 a barrel to a peak of $86.07 in early October. Macron has borne the brunt of the demonstrators' anger instead of OPEC for reducing oil production, or the US for imposing tariffs on Iran, which crippled oil exports. Many protesters are angry with the president for extending the environmental policies that were first implemented by former President François Hollande. This is clearly skewed, biased, uninformed and false. Its actually hilarious it attempts to shift blame to Hollande at the very end. Hilarious and pathetic. This has nothing to do with OPEC or US tariffs...The protestors aren't in the streets to do rising Oil cost...first and foremost, this is about a green tax plan by Macron on petroleum. This is the final straw which launched these violent protest...This is in a series of poor Macron economic policies which have thrown the country into violence. Its interesting that CNN is deflecting, attempting to change a narrative. Hilarity and why CNN is considered fake news. This is the best summation about why and how: https://www.npr.org/2018/12/03/672862353/who-are-frances-yellow-vest-protesters-and-what-do-they-want Absolutely zero to do with Oil prices, tariffs, Trump and previous French presidents. Once again CNN is clearly fake news. |

A lot actually...largest riots in 50 years....deadly riots...response to illegal fuel tax...cost of living standards have risen sharply since Macron administration...70% of the French support the yellow vest protest..people are now calling for resignation Most importantly, Macron has been a failure since the media’s embrace. Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
I was just referring to why people were protesting. Good for them, obviously the majority of people didn't want it and they came together to oppose it. Wish this country was capable of the same. Instead party line bias determines your opinion on everything.
Also I didn't read the CNN article, and I have no desire to read it either. We already had this convo. By reading it, and sharing it, you are doing exactly what they want. Fake news will stop selling when people start ignoring it. BTW I'm inclined to let you have your triumphs with the economy doing so well, unemployment being the lowest ever, etc. because the only people in the Trump org. that haven't been indicted is the family itself. You should start preparing yourself for that. Surely there's an angle where false charges are being made up on false evidence because registered Republicans who are actually Dems can't stand seeing a rich white man succeed. |
