2nd Round Matt Elam S or Bacarri Rambo S or Kenny Vaccaro S whoever is on the board
3rd Round Jamar Taylor CB
4th Round Jordan Reed TE
5th Round Omoregie Uzzi OG
6th Round DJ Swearinger S
Rambo is more likely of the 3.
Swearinger ins't going in the 6th.
We do have a 7th rounder, or did you just cut it short on purpose?

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects

I went out the other day and bought the NFL Draft Magazines that come out at this time of year. I got the Lindys, ProFootballWeekly, and ProFootball Draft Guide.

- They all suck this year
- ProFootball Draft Guide was the most expensive with the least info
- I'm not happy with ProFootball Weekly this year leaving out recommended prospects that the redskins should target for offense and defense.
- I feel like they really rushed ProFootball Weekly (PFW) this year just to get it on stands faster, leaving out a lot of info they would normally include (such as recommended prospects)

Aside from me practically wasting my money, I learned (or cemented an opinion):

-That 2 outlets have now confirmed Robert Alford CB Southeastern Lousiana has Crohns disease
- Ryan Swope has suffered a reported 3 concussions already.
- PFW brought up a great point about Barrett Jones of Alabama "If he were on Auburn, do you think we'd be talking about him as much, or is just because he's on Alabama, playing with other great prospects, that we like him?"
- They all say Escobar is the real deal (TE San Diego St)
- They all agree the QB class sucks this year (no surprise)
- Jordan Mills T LaTech is a guy we should be keeping our eyes on; all the books say he would be a great addition to a ZBS
- Margus Hunt is 26...
- PFDG said we should look at "Jordan Poyer, Jamar Taylor, Robert Alford, Darius Slay." "They could go safety with JJ Wilcox, Tony Jefferson, Duke Williams, or Phillip Thomas."
- Nickell Robey CB USC, is basically the Russell Wilson of CBs according to most of the magazines. If he were 2 inches taller and 30-40lbs heavier he'd be a first rounder challenging Milliner for top pick. Instead he's 5'8 168lb and a 5th rounder.
- PFW does a "What the scouts say about 3-6 prospects per position (already mentioned their Barrett Jones comment above) they bashed the LBs with Khaseem Greene saying "All the plays he makes are schemed". They also had lots of questions on Dion Jordan and said that Arthur Brown "gets a body on him and he's done".
- Kevin Riddick, who has been a named linked to us in mocks, is "instense, He's everything you want in a leader. He's smart and instinctive. He just can't run. His speed is average."
- "LSU gives their #18 Jersey to their hardest worker each year. This year it went to Bennie Logan DT. He is a very strong plugger with a thick, athletic build. He looks every bit the part." Logan is viewed as a 3rd to 4th rounder.
- "Bjoern Werner is Ryan Kerrigan" apparently
- William Gholston will go higher than he should. He is also related to Vernon Gholston...( I don't want him)
- "DJ Swearinger will drop down in the box and hit you. He looks to take your head off. I love his intensity and approach. Every secondary needs a lightning rod like him. When you think of a lot of the great ones--the Ed Reeds and Brian Dawkins-- they had that spark...He'll miss some tackles that he should make, but he's a big-time hitter."

-TJ McDonald is a better athlete than football player (see Taylor Mays)

- Tony Jefferson "can't run. He took a bunch of bad angles."

- Bacarri Rambo "not a hitter. He's never been the same since he got put on a backboard early in his career. He's not a true free or an ideal strong. Factor in the background issues and you're talking about a backup." Never knew he was injured seriously early on.

- Matt Elam "He would start looking attractive to me in the 4th round. Thats where I think he belongs. He plays the ball well, but he's more of a box guy to me."

- Menelik Watson (RT FSU) "Is not a US Citizen, is overaged, and is probably going to be a combine phenom that will wow many people, the question is if you can get it out of him on the field" Don't want him

- Justin Pugh OT/OG Syracuse supposedly isn't a LT for the pros but should be tried there anyway with his quick feet and his tyranasorus rex arms, before you waste him at guard. I say why don't they try him at RT?

- Oday Aboushi is rated as a 3rd rounder at best in most of the magazines.

- Tyrann Mathieu: they all say his weaknesses are his small size, durability is a concern, he's a slot CB only, man coverage limitations, unrefined technique, will get pushed around a lot by bigger WRs, and obvious maturity concerns. A lot of the magazines have him as a 4-6th rounder.

Just decided to go 6 rounds even though I know Shanny can find some 7th round gems

For anyone interested in the most realistic mock draft available go to

#MockOne | Where Twitter Users Mock the NFL Draft!

This is a twitter bases mock that involves individual team analysts who know what each team is "thinking" and what their true needs are. We as Skins fans know what we need to make happen, but does anybody on here know what the Chargers are lookin for in the 5th round of the draft? Its just for fun but is more accurate in finding out who falls when. Considering we dont have a pick till the 2nd round makes it hard but our team is still trying its best to be a relative as possible. Im the AGM @joeyt5656 but if you dont like me then follow @MockOne to see whats goin on.

Rambo has too many weaknesses. Fresno State's Phillip Thomas would be the better pick if Jonathan Cyprien is off the boards.

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects

2nd: Eric Reid S
3rd: David Amerson CB
4th: Zaviar Gooden ILB
5th: Brennan Williams OT
5th: Tharold Simon CB
6th: Cierre Wood RB
7th: Marcus Davis WR-TE (Conversion)

Priority UDFA:
Cody Davis S Texas Tech
Very good S prospect who is flying way under the draftnik radar. Doubt he makes it past the 5th round to be honest but my goto site still has him projected as a UDFA despite the fact that he lit it up at the Texas Tech pro day.

Sean Renfree QB Duke
Colby Cameron QB LA Tech

Nile Davis RB Arkansas

Jaron Brown WR Clemson

Matt Furstenburg TE Go Terps!
Joesph Fauria TE UCLA
Levine Toilolo TE Stanford

Vinston Painter OT V-Tech

Re: 2013 NFL Draft Prospects

I haven't seen too much love for Jordan Poyer on here. He'll probably be available late in the second round.

He's a ball hawking, big hitting CB with return skills. I think he's gonna be a difference maker at this level. From what I've seen, he makes big plays and creates for his teammates. I think he'd be a nice addition to our secondary and return game.

Thoughts?

Prefer him in the third if he is there. I prefer a safety in the 2nd but I would love to have him. Reminds me of LaDarius Webb from the Ravens

I would love for him to be available when we pick, but most of the rankings I have seen have him going early 2nd, possibly even late 1st. If so, he wont be there when we pick.

Im surprised more arent looking at Cooper Taylor - SS out of Richmond or BW Webb - CB out of William and Mary. Both are raw but most people believe that they have high ceilings. Will take some development on both, but looks like most have Webb as a 4th or 5th, and Cooper seems to be rated as a 7th to UDFA although I have seen a couple predicting he could go higher. Biggest knock on both is that they dont have elite speed (BW Webb is around 4.5 and Cooper is around 4.6 for their 40 times) but most talk about their instinct and feel for the game being very good. Imo, having a feel for the game means more than being fast but clueless.
