The difference lies in our approach. We can agree that CNN is trying to shift coverage from "poor people don't like rising gas prices" to "blame OPEC/etc." right?

You are trying to fight it, by clicking it, and sharing it, which leads to more clicks and shares.

With RBG that would have meant she could have retired under Pres Obama, or chosen to stay on knowing she would be retiring under a different president.

6 years means a Justice would serve through at least 3 elections and 1 presidential. SO since we know politics are a factor in Justices decisions to retire, they would have some ability to look at the current political state and decide when they want to retire.
