Re: Guard watches coast for oil slick's first wave
this is probably why he isnt living at the diaster
"Also, did you see, President Obama is being criticized for what he had on. When he was standing at the shoreline there, he had on fancy pants and a fancy shirt. Look, what other critics are saying, is that 80% of public perception is image. Not what you say. And he should have had on, like what Thad Allen has on next to him. Something that looked like he was a little bit more at the scene." Obama has also been called out for his footwear, donning sneakers instead of shrimp boots to visit the gulf coast. What do you think? What should the President wear to an oil spill? taken from fox news and to compare the 2 diasters is crazy. Katrina demanded a quicker response because lives were at stake. he NEEDED to be faster. |

Re: Guard watches coast for oil slick's first wave
i never said that lives aren't at stake. but during the Katrina disaster, the response time had to be immediate, because people were literally drowning. and that's why W was hammered. that, and the fact he had an unqualified friend running FEMA

You actually watch FOX news? :Flush: Katerina = Mother Nature. Oil Spill = Man made disaster. Jorge Bush = Jackasss Puppet President Hussein = Jackass Puppet that gives a good speech. BP did this on purpose so they can get their cap-and-tax legislation through. Open your eyes. It's a lie! I wonder if the marine life in the gulf like all that change. Can we oil up the gulf to get our climate change legislation through? Yes we can! |

Dude , I love you like my bother , but what are you talking about ? I have not blamed any politician for either Hurricane K. or the BP oil disaster , however , in response to your earlier post , the Bush Admin. did attempt to get the Gov. < Blanco > to order an evacuation , which she refused < I provided links above >. As far as this Admin. I have never been critical of the handling of the BP mess . We can water board the CEO of BP and I would support that 100 % . |

Re: Guard watches coast for oil slick's first wave
Anyone who thinks this problem couldn't be solved in 24 hours isn't using the brain power that God gave a shrew. They can fix a satellite going around the Earth at a million miles an hour, yet they can't remove a coupler and place a new one on? How do you think the astronauts train to fix satellites in space?
No one is this incompetent! This is being done on purpose. If you can't see that, we'll I don't know? Go drink a beer and watch the world cup with the rest of the sheeple. Either that or I'm sure there's a new episode of American Idolatry or Real Skanks of New Jersey on tonight? I thought Washington fans were more educated than the average fan? |
Re: Guard watches coast for oil slick's first wave
I think we're getting dangerously close to being all stocked up on crazy round here.
