Colts and Ravens reportedly interested in Kerrigan. He will be 32 next year on the last year of his deal with a 11.75M cap hit.

Kerrigan's ability to stay healthy and play all 16 has been awesome.

Its time. Get a 4th, do a professional heart felt press conference to announce and thank him.

a fourth for Kerrigan? Only a complete fool would do that. Oh wait, we have a complete fool for a GM, so its entirely possible.

I've been saying that they will likely get a deal done for Trent at the last minute, but it is entirely possible this is all a bunch of BS. Maybe the front office is just SAYING they are now open to trading Trent now to appease the fan base, only to NOT trade him because "they didn't get a fair offer".

Honestly, Id do it for a 5th. If we are rebuilding, he would be a cut in the offseason anyway. Zero dead money cutting him. I like Kerrigan and everything he has done for this team but its time. Keeping him over Trent Murphy and Preston Smith has already cost us imo.

He has a year or two of decent play left, send him to a contender so he can experience competitive playoff football and a real organization. Making him a Skin for life is cruel and unusual. Let him have a legit 2-3 years to chase a ring. It aint happening here.

If you truly love Ryan Kerrigan ... you let him go.

edit -- perhaps the Texans might be motivated with the loss of JJ

He has the record for most consecutive starts for a LOLB in NFL history. 4x Pro Bowler, high character guy. I think he is one of those veterans you keep to lead by example for all the young players. I wouldn't trade him unless you got a king's ransom.

I think he stays a Skin for life and I don't think they would get more than 3rd for him anyways personally I would jump at that but don't think that Snydallen would.

Kerrigan should command at the very least a 3rd rounder, probably more like a 2nd.

That makes sense, I'd do it for a 3rd but I seriously doubt someone forks over a 1st for him.

Kerrigan and Trent to Chicago for Clinton-Dix. He's the missing key; this time it will work. Maybe we can throw in a 3rd rounder to sweeten the deal.

lol...can we enroll Clinton-Dix in to a basic geometry class which talks about bad angles to the ball carrier or ball flight? I got tired of watching him coming up to make a play, realize he didn't know where he was on the field and then turn around to chase guys into the endzone.

And then the old Redskins go-too-move, point to someone else on the field claiming miss communication...an effective technique adapted by Josh Norman this year.

I'd do Njoku and a 2nd at this point. 3.5 hours to go...

I'd do that, I'd do a 2nd and a 3rd and I would give them Josh Norman for free.

Let's throw in Haskins for Trubisky too, since we've already determined Haskins is a bust.

Agreed. His salary next year is reasonable and even if we go into "rebuilding" mode, you NEED guys like Kerrigan on the roster to create a good culture. This talk of trading him for a 4th/5th is completely nonsensical.

He didn't say this in relation to Trent, specifically. Could be something else.

Also, other reporters on twitter are saying the Browns really aren't interested in Trent as much as has been reported the past couple weeks. I find that hard to believe, but it could be they have cooled off on Trent and are going after another LT since the Skins asking price is too high.

And to be fair, a first rounder is ALOT to ask for a 1-1/2 years of a 31 year old LT who misses on average 4 games per season and is one bad piss test away from a 1 year suspension. I mean, if the roles were reversed, and our team was considering trading FOR Trent, would you be ok with giving up a (likely) top 10 pick next year for him?

Easier to withhold judgement until 4 pm, we have the rest of our lives to call out Bruce for his incompetence running this team.

Keep this in mind too - Trent Williams wants a new contract. Other teams are wary of that cost.

Latest I’ve heard - don’t expect Adrian Peterson or Josh Norman to get moved. As for Trent Williams, it might happen but Redskins not budging on 1st rounder or playmaker.

I always thought any trade would have to be watered down bc the new team would want assurances he would show up and play and that would require a new contract.

The Browns might've given up a #1 when they were 2-2. Now they are 2-5 and starting to question their QB.

It's amazing how Dan and Bruce fuck this on on cue.
