Nice move by the Jags. There had been some talk that Charles Woodson might go to Jacksonville.

B Williams is better the woodson at this point. williams got the shawn springs deal it looks like ;) average value, no one wins that contract, but the jags do fill a need.

Browns | Jurevicius agrees to a four-year deal
Sat, 11 Mar 2006 14:49:29 -0800

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports free agent WR Joe Jurevicius (Seahawks) has agreed to a four-year deal worth about $10 million with the Cleveland Browns.

damn, if he was willing to move (which i doubted) he would have been a great pickup. 2.5mill per? that's peanuts to us. I'd assume this means that bryant isn't coming back unless he's cheap.

Nice move by the Browns. I didn't think he'd move that far either

Packers | Contract update: A. Kampman
Sat, 11 Mar 2006 14:49:56 -0800

ESPN.com's John Clayton and Len Pasquarelli report Green Bay Packers DE Aaron Kampman signed a five-year, $25 million deal that included $11 million in guarantees to remain with the team.

he's worth it, but i don't think other teams would have really bid that contract up a whole lot over 25mill.

THE NEWS
Restricted free agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd has a new home. The Redskins acquired the disgruntled wide receiver via trade from the 49ers, sending their third-round pick this year and next year's fourth-round selection to San Francisco.

Our View
Lloyd finished last season with 48 receptions for 733 yards and five touchdowns but is a better receiver than his numbers suggest. The third-year receiver has been stuck catching passes from the likes of Alex Smith, Tim Rattay, Ken Dorsey, and Cody Pickett. In DC, Lloyd and Santana Moss present a very formidable receiver duo, and B-Lloyd's fantasy stock climbs significantly.

do you try to bring in R'El still? what are the new contract numbers for lloyd?
