Re: Cowboys Officially Sign Terrell Owens
From what I have heard that alot of media guys are getting emails from ticked off Dallas fans but when TO starts scoring TD's alot of those ticked off fans will become TO fans. It was like when they fired Tom L it ticked off alot of fans but after a couple of year they where saying Tom who?
I'm sure you are correct! I personally don't want to win bad enough to degrade my Redskins with effluent such as TO. Joe Knows |
Re: Cowboys Officially Sign Terrell Owens
TO's demise probably will come not from his mouth/mind but from his legs/ankle. I think the greater chance of him injuring himself from a previous ailment is more likely. Doesn't he have a reoccurring hamstring injury that causes him to sit out practice from time to time?
You say that like someone who really believes T.O. will still BE in Dallas in a few years.
Who realy knows I just like the fact that Taylor will get a chance to hit TO twice a year.

Re: Cowboys Officially Sign Terrell Owens
TO makes Dallas better in the short term, but it's the longer term that matters. He is inevitably going to have some issue or other. And then we'll see how Tuna reacts. My guess is this could be the end of Tuna in Dallas--some flap with TO occurs next offseason, Jerry backs TO, and it's bye-bye Tuna.
As for TO and Bledsoe, if the roids can't properly protect Beldsoe, he's not going to get the ball to TO enough, the boys will lose, and TO will start in on his comments. If they can protect Bledsoe, it's anyone's guess--TO may actually behave for a while. So, the O-line is the key, as per ususal. Last year, when that O-line got hurt, Dallas fell apart. Fabini helps, sure, but I have my doubts there. I think it makes the NFC east all the more exciting to have TO around--so long as he's not a skin! |

I agree, but i dont think thats the point. Thats like speeding through a redlight with your family in the car. Even if you make it through with no problem and go on to have a successful car ride, it still wasnt a smart risk to take. |
Re: Cowboys Officially Sign Terrell Owens
We should almost start a poll or another thread on how many games it will take for T.O. to "blow-up" the Cowboys. I give him 5 games!
I think we'll have to wait until it's clear to the local Dallas press, as well as the fans, that their season is over. ...So I'd bet on Game 11. |
Re: Cowboys Officially Sign Terrell Owens
T.O.'s new rap from his website:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2377168 "When it comes to this game, I'm the best in the field, some said I was gonna sign just a one-year deal, but I got what I wanted up front, 10 mil, changed the rules of the game, so now how you feel?" Owens raps. Owens also takes shots at the Eagles' management in the rap: "I got a brand new team, I am a Cowboy now, no more black and green, to the haters that said I'm not going to get my money, I'm laughing in your face, ha ha, that's funny." He really wants the Philly fans to kill him. |
