Re: Could Donnie Edwards be a Skin???
i read earlier that SD is asking for a 2nd rounder straight up for edwards. i hope our front office looks past this. i'm all for youth and hopefully someone who can make an impact not someone who has a few good years left.

Actually I'd trade our 2nd rounder for Edwards in a heartbeat.......if not for the fact that I don't think we could afford to give him a long-term contract. Edwards is a known quantity and I don't see any reason to think he couldn't give us 3-4 very solid years. I know draft day would be dull, but the chances of getting a player better than Edwards at #53 are very slim. |
Re: Could Donnie Edwards be a Skin???
Now that Adam is out of the picture we need to make a move in the draft to get D'Qwell Jackson, or wait and pick up a guy like Freddy Keiaho (San Diego State), Leon Williams of Miami, or a Bobby Carpenter of Ohio State

Re: Could Donnie Edwards be a Skin???
I would rather have a defender from the U. As mediocre as they were, they had a sweet defense.
