Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Just as in all but one of our games this season, scoring will be a huge challenge for us.
Redskins 7 Cards 6 It's gonna be a close one! |
Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Skins: 27
Cards: 18 we will jump on them fast.......the D will be all over Warner or Whoever.......but by the end of the 3rd Qrt, we will be beatin them by 12,........they add a field goal......we win by 9 |
Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
It's seems like every time we do predictions and get all cocky with the score, it comes back to bite us in the ass.

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions

we have nothing to do with the score. |
Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Looks for the Skins to control the clock by running the bejeezus out of the ball. Portis and Betts will carry the ball a combined 30+ times, with Sellers getting at least 5 carries. Looks for the Cards to try and stop Cooley at all costs. So it'll be up to the Receivers to get open and catch the frickin' ball. Campbell must throw the ball less than 30 times (This season, 3-0 with less than 30 attempts, 0-2 with more than 30).
The defense will step up without Springs, and will have a "win one for the Gipper" type attitude. Pressure on the Cards QB will be widespread, as GW will blitz more than he has the last 2 games. Edgerrin James will get his yards, but won't score. It'll be the Neil Rackers show for the Cards. Redskins 24 Cardinals 12 |
Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
I just realized it was Arizona who made Vinny Testaverde look 20 years old again. :D

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Earlier in the week I said 32-0 Skins. I am going to stick with that. I think the defense sets up the O with short feilds all day long. After a 20-0 halftime lead the Skins take the 2nd half kickoff and hold onto the ball for over 10 minutes. They tack on a FG early in the 4th and gibbs turns to CP and LB to grind out the clock. Campbell has his very first 300 yard passing day. The D finishes the day off with a safety.
Campbell: 23 of 30 for 321, 3 tds, 0 ints. Portis: 11 carries for 88 yards and 2 catches for 101 yards(one really big one early in the game, maybe first drive) and TD. Moss: 10 catches 125 yards and 2 TDS. Cooley has a solid day but is used alot in protections and does not score. |
Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
Offense will struggle again, but the D pulls us out with a win.
Redskins 17 Cardinals 13 |
Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
THIS WILL NOT BE A CAKWALK!
See what Cards D did to Pittsburgh run game and Edges' numbers this year. Don't have to be a great QB to hand off to Edge and we really have not had to stop a quality run game this season. I think it will be a defensive struggle with the Skins winning on a last second FG by Suisham 17-14 |

Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
All I have to say is we better win this game.

Actually, the fans in the stands have been known to make enough noise to cause delay of game penalties, etc when the opponent is in the red zone, thus backing them up. Thus, we at the game can have some small part in the score. Sometimes. PS 23-10, skins. |
Re: Skins vs. Cardinals predictions
38 - 0 skins
Our defense is beast. Our offense was embarrassed in Green Bay and itching to bounce back. Tim Rattay: Starting QB. First shutout in a looooooong time. |
