Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
fyi, sportscenter is going to have J. Clayton reporting on this. probably no more than what's already being speculated

Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
Just remember, only one of them can have the ball at a time. Im not too worried either A) that it will happen of B) that they will be that much better.

Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
And I also bet that they will trade both their #1 picks and move up on the draft and get Darren McFadden.
That coupled with the acquisition of Moss would be JJ's idea of putting the "wow" into the offense. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
And then their safeties will be Roy Williams and Ken Hamlin, and they still won't be able to cover anybody.
If Dallas was going after Asante Samuel in the same way they are going after Randy Moss, they would actually improve their team. |

If they have a disappointing year, I could see them releasing him prior to 2009, but I'd be shocked if he wasn't back next year. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
If Moss goes to Dallas it will be extremely interesting to see how his ego and T.O's ego will coexist if they can at all.

Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
I feel like this is nothing more then a pipe dream. I think that Jerry Jones would be happier with a guy like Stallworth or Walker as his #2 guy.

Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
I think if Dallas lets Roy Williams go, we should sign him to compete with doughty at the SS position cus he could bring a lot experience and he would probably HATE dallas for doing that to him..
Im not a fan of the guy either.. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
He still can't cover anybody, and for our scheme, it's important that the sfeties be able to cover the field.

Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
It only makes sense that division rivals will be rumored to make moves to counter another divison opponents strengths.
When you have a QB in your division that racks up over 4000 yards and 23 TD's, or a WR that accumulates 15 TD's and 1400 yards, you need personnel and strategy to counter that. So the G-Men, and Eagles looking to bolster thier defensive backfield with the likes of Samuel or Hall to counter threats like Romo, Owens, Witten, S. Moss, Cooley etc only makes sense. But this is the worst time of year for rumors. The last few days before free agency and more than tons of speculation. All unsubstantiated, but enough to cause a fervor.
Correction: A QB with 4000 yards and 36 TDs |

greg blaches will be running a similiar defense as GW but it wont be the exact same.. Like i said he could compete with Doughty and if he wins the position outright then great, but if not we can always rotate. |
Re: NFL.com Report: Dallas Cowboys Going After Randy Moss
d hall is not the answer. he's like 5'8" and got blasted by TO last time they played. he can't outjump moss either, AND he's a turd that wants big money on top of it. NO!
the guy you need to cover TO and randy moss is sean taylor. even TO didn't like playing him, cause he knew he was going to get hit all day (After the whistle fists to the helmet, excessive shoving out of bounds, elbow into him when he's down, etc)... taylor was fast enough and could outjump them too, and TO never caught 4 TD against him in one game :(. landry is actually MORE physically gifted (in terms of speed etc), and springs plays TO/Moss pretty well, but maybe a monster DE is the real answer. all that said, i doubt moss goes anywhere besides NE. |

my good friend, who knows somebody with the cowboys, says Flozell Adams is gone. unless he re structures. and this will be Roy Williams last in Dallas |
