I still havent eaten at famous dave's, but I picked up some of their texas pit sauce in costco and it was awesome for store bought sauce.

I usually use Sweet Baby Ray's or Cattleman's as a base and if I'm feeling adventurous, I'll add some things...but Famous Dave's Devil's Spit is good stuff.

As far as chains go, Red Hot & Blue > Famous Dave's
