Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
Has anyone been paying any attention to doman29's posts?
Let's run through some of the opinions he posted since joining -Bring Adam Archuleta back to compete for a safety spot -Trade Betts to Detroit. Pick up Shaun Alexander or Kevin Jones -Goof Ball Gibbs ruined this team (along with Spurrier) trading for useless players such as...Adam Archuleta -Give LaVar a camp invite -Why not LeMar Marshall too -While we're at it, sign Trotter to a vet min deal or give him a 2 year deal Fascinating
Its nice to know Larry is visiting the Warpath. |
I feel bad for him, his career has taken a turn for the worse.
Sorry - I don't hate the guy, but I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who was paid a gazillion dollars to sit on the bench and rats out his coaches to the media. I had hoped he would do well for us - but he really was just a big wussy douche (with millions of dollars and a super hot girlfriend - didn't this guy listen to Flock of Seagulls to psych himself up on game day?) Cry me a river. |

Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
Looks like Chicago is always picking up our dead weight (Adam Archuletta, Brandon Lloyd, ...). Their next free agent acquisition will be Derrick Frost, aka Mr Shank.

Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
Damn, I really enjoyed his vocals on the Neil Diamond songs.
He was molten hot, dog! |
Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
Now that's the type of video that should be banned from this site, not Redskins highlights.

Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
I know this isnt Madden, but does anyone think Adam Archuleta can play outside LB? I think at this point in his career his value as a SS is dwindling, but if he can add a few pounds and learn his position I think he MAY be able to play outside LB(weakside). He is already 223lbs, and if he added another 10-15 it could work.
Thoughts? |
Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
Well, I hear he has a pretty good-looking girlfriend/wife (dunno if its progressed to that)....she'll make him feel better.......I hope...
Tough luck! |

Thoughts?
I think it would be tough, and as others pointed out, he's a little old. So I think the move to LB would be dumb, but i'm sure if he wanted to, he could do it. He's a good athlete. Just wouldn't recommend it. |
Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
what really happened to this guy? At one point he was being named the next John Lynch now he's a burn out...where did his career go wrong?
|
Re: Bears cut Adam Archuleta
The problem with this guy is that NFL teams no longer value "play the line" strong safeties.
Especially with all the Cover-2 being played these days, both safeties have to be able to excel in pass support... and that's not his game. He's too small for the LB position right now... but he could bulk up and get a look from a team like Indy who tends to like smaller, quicker guys at LB. |
