Re: Looking at the schedule...
I agree it's certainly possible to be 6-2 going into that Monday Night Game.
I think we should all have some cautious optimism here. We are a team w/ a new coach and a new system. We've won a few games in a row and played very well thru the majority of those games. We are not in a position to think we are that much better than many teams out there. A couple more decisive wins, then maybe. But I'm not ready to believe we are going to win the NFC East yet. The skins still have some work to do. It was a big road win but it's just one road win. But, yes the schedule is favorable for the skins, but I still realize we are a work in progress. Hopefully we can take another step this week in Philly.
you just said what i was going to say but better and shorter . . so thanks. cautiously optimistic. go skins!! |
There is no such thing as a favorable stretch in the NFL. Just ask Denver.
We have a defense though. ;) |
Re: Looking at the schedule...
Im going to sit in the middle of the road on this one i hate to say 7-1 but its hard not too

Re: Looking at the schedule...
i hate cliches. with that out of the way, i really like the thought of playing then one at a time. looking ahead creates hitting pot holes along the way

Re: Looking at the schedule...
6-2 thats my prediction after 8..the loss coming from the bungles

Re: Looking at the schedule...
Do you guys realize after this week in Philly we have a very favorable 3 game stretch that includes home against the Rams, home against the Browns, and away at Detroit? We could realistically be 7-1 or 6-2 heading into the Monday nighter against the Steelers.
Yep. Considering the late bye, we could be the first team in the NFL to win 7 games.

Re: Looking at the schedule...
What are the hard games left on our schedule after this week?
Road: Seattle, Baltimore Home: Pittsburgh, New York Giants, Philadelphia, Dallas This is shaping up very much like a 10+ win season. |

We don't play the Bengals til week 15 |
Re: Looking at the schedule...
The bigger beauty is --- the Giants are going to end their season with the more difficult part in the back end.
