I agree with you but I still think Danny hired Zorn becasue he is small potatoes, who cares if Zorn is fired in a year he was lucky to be there (Danny's attuide). I think Danny has him on a one year interview make a big splash you can stay if not I will go after the sexy high profile couch (Cowher). Does this not sound like something Danny would do or has done?

Here is somethign else I have thought; would it not be great fun to be Dan Synder and sign up for a under cover screen name here? Oh the fun you could have.

Wait until the season is over, before thinking too far ahead. It's about not panicking and to focus in the game of football, especially in low times like this during the season and even in games. I know it's about patience - but I'm thinking about waiting for the last 3 regular season games instead of 3 seasons. This is where Zorn is going to show what he has as a coach - when things seem the lowest. It's fight or flight.

Zorn and the redskins have 3 games to show what they have. If it's more of the same then you really do have to evaluate everything even if it means revamping everything. You don't know if you have the right head coach and great players until the team has really been tested through tough times like this. But deciding whether it's the players or the coaches is another question.

All I know is - it starts at the top with Zorn and Campbell (and/or Portis). If they don't perform well these last 3 games - either of them (between Zorn and Campbell) should be gone, since they are the leaders of the offense. And the offense is the unit that leads a team that is based on the West Coast offensive philosophy, in my mind.

Please fire him. While I believe Zorn is a good football guy and should have a roll somewhere in the organization, I haven't been overly impressed with anything he's done as a head coach. I think he is what he is, a quaterbacks coach. Draftees Thomas, Kelly, and Davis all have talent that was underutilized and/or not developed. Davis in particular. Zorn said he was dumb, basically. I don't know what the guy scored on the wunderlick test, but this guy was the top tight end coming out of college and a good coach would find a way to get some production out of him.

I think the 6-2 start we had this year was residue from the Gibbs regime. Moreover, we're still pounding Portis into submission and throwing that bubble screen to Santana Moss. We should have come out in the no-huddle offense with 5 wide against Baltimore. Maybe try throwing to setup the run. Cooley made the pro bowl last year, in this offense he has regressed. Sellers has also disappeared in this offense until recently.

All part of learning to be a HC. He comes from a strong coaching tree and he'll adjust. C'mon let's have some Kool-aid...LOL

Zorn needs to delegate responsibilities better, but he also needs to do so with coaches he trusts more. Basically, it seems like anyway, that Zorn gives 110% in preparation every week, but whatever facet of the game he overlooks we simply get outcoached in.

I think that the assistants need to do a better job, or if they aren't allowed to do anything, save Snyder the costs.

One, I think the rumor is nonsense. Two, if it is true, who in the hell would ever want to coach here? Maybe Jim Fassel. Is that what folks want? NO way a good coach comes here to have his reputation ruined.

These last three are crucial for the team and for Zorn. Really a pity that this is just when Samuels goes down. Yes, the offense has been weak. But we've played Pitt, Balt., NY giants, and Dallas. All have good Ds, and really Balt and Pitt are the top, IMO. Let's see how we fare against Cincy before we condemn Zorn and his system to the flames!

I would start with a new Special Teams coach, promote Jerry Gray to DC and let Blache retire, also replace Hixon.
