Re: Despite win Campbell must go !!!!
to support JC for the lack of solid play around him is one thing, to believe he will be an elite qb is a whole other story . . this year was really his "report card" year and the seasons almost done, hes lucky he has a year left on his K to show us something hes failed ot show us so far.
unhappy for many years? nah, ill just keep enjoying watch a great D be held back b/c we havent had even an average passing attack in decades . . go skins!!!
I totally disagree with that. He was thrown into yet another new offense, and the line has been battered and at times flat out bad. It's pretty much widely known that it takes at least 2 full seasons (Steve Young thinks it takes 3) for a QB to get fully versed and comfortable in a WCO. |

Plea to the mods: just my opinion but there is some moral hazard for allowing this thread and others like it to drag on and on. Seriously, after three full pages not one reasonable argument for benching/cutting JC. Not one. Instead things tend to unravel into a litany of pointless jib-jabs etc, etc. Just my opinion here. This is a great, correction - fantastic, board w/ intelligent discussion and lots of variety... I just don't think the oft repeated "Send Campbell Packin" thread(s) add much value. And especially when at the end of the day (and season) the majority agree o-line, developing WR talent, and offensive scheme are all bigger issues than JC's intermittent struggles.
