Do you hate Campbell so much that you are willing to turn every single thread into him leaving? I just accepted the idea that he more than likely wont be here after this season. either he tanks and is gone or he does well and leaves because you can tell he doesnt like/trust the FO after this past offseason. So im just lookin ahead for the best options that may be available at the time we may be in the market for a QB.

I just cut the part of the quote im referring to instead of posting an entire quote of someone else.
And in this instance specifically you used all of Ruhskins quote, minus the . That's fine but you're still not using it correctly. The wrong way: I just cut the part of the quote im referring to The right way:
I just cut the part of the quote im referring to
The second way someone can actually a) see who made the original post and b) click on the arrow to the right of the username to go to the original post and read the entire quote |

We've had JC for what 5 yrs now and he has not stood out. All he has shown was that he was average at best all the way up to the beginning of last season. He shined for 8 games then bombed. I'm sure other reasons were a factor but all said and done I'm betting DS was already tired of waiting for JC to make a mark. Last season's first 8 games was nice but again it took him 5 yrs. I totally understand the changing of offenses, the O-line never giving him time and so on. I like JC and hope he plays lights out this yr and he gets resigned. I just get the feeling DS is either done with JC or mentally has moved on. |

What's the difference really? I mean, we might be good this year, but we also might be good in 2014. No difference really. |

Well I was criticizing you for mentioning Campbell leaving on a thread about Haynesworth, however, I'll be a hypocrite and continue to discuss Campbell in this thread. - Since there's a 95% chance there will be an uncapped year in 2010, Jason Campbell will be a restricted free agent. - If JC does well, the team will keep him by either renewing his contract or tagging him. So JC cannot just pick up and leave. - If JC doesn't do well, he may be kept as a back up or released. - The only way JC will leave this team after doing well, is if the FO really feels he's not their QB and trade him after placing the franchise tag on him, which I find unlikely. So with all of this in mind and also since a lot of your posts have been anti-Campbell, I made my first comment of bringing up Campbell in a non-Campbell thread just to reiterate your dislike for him. |

Id say its more 50-50 on a uncapped year.
- The only way JC will leave this team after doing well, is if the FO really feels he's not their QB and trade him after placing the franchise tag on him, which I find unlikely.
No way in hell the Redskins franchise tag Jason Campbell. :laughing- Cassel was tagged at 14.65 mil this year. The tag for a QB will go up next year. If the Skins franchise tagged Campbell id be in utter shock and no team would trade for a QB like Campbell with that tag. |

I still don't know all the details of the uncapped year. |

Yes one franchise tag, and two transition tags per team |

I heard they were gonna start in June......
NFL | NFLPA will begin CBA talks with league soon Wed, 20 May 2009 06:25:25 -0700 Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports negotiations toward an extension of the collective bargaining agreement between the league and its players will begin on June 1, NFL executive vice president of labor/legal counsel Jeff Pash said Tuesday, May 19. How long the critical negotiations last, however, might depend on the league's desire to share its ledger books with the players, something it has so far has been reluctant to do. The NFLPA has stated that there will be no deal until the players are able to examine the league's books. We would have to hold 15 mil in space for Campbell. Snyder likes to spend in FA so I dont see him holding 15 mil in cap space for Campbell (a player he wanted to trade twice this offseason). I dont even think he could if we wanted to though. No team would trade for Campbell with that price tag. This is if its capped. If its uncapped their would be no need to Franchise Tag Campbell since we could match any offer. |

Hate is a terrible thing. It blinds your every motive, even when you can't see it for yourself. So much, in fact, that hijacking every thread someone posts in just becomes another "Campbell needs to leave" hatemongering whirlpool, regurgitating the same shit we've already discussed in countless other threads ad nauseum. |

This should be your signature. That way, when a thread about how a mountain lion came down from the Rockies & damn near devoured Laron Landry's spare tire that was rolling freely around his campsite after a black bear attacked his car & tried to eat all his snickers bars before breakfast, you can simply state..."It's Campbell's fault! See signature". It'll definitely save all of us time. |
