I had a much longer post but I lost it. Essentially I said that I hate it when the developers make changes for the sake of change rather than for true game enhancement. Geeks really piss me off sometimes.

So I am assuming we will be setting up Madden leagues with 2011, is the consistencies to use Xbox, if so I will buy a Xbox version.

I played last night on all-madden setting. Is it me or has the running game has gotten easier? They still have too many cut scenes...the in game ads are kinda annoying...the pre-snap adjustment changes are god awful. I hope can change that.

A post launch patch will be adding back in the option for the normal audible adjustments so I'm now sold.

I read the blog from Ian Cummings regarding the pre-snap changes and it makes sense. I'll give the new system a shot, but it's good to know the old way will be patched in for the hardcore guys.

I play NCAA with The U and I swear the only team that actually put up a fight was Alabama. Everyone else I would beat down like they stole something. I even creamed Florida. Pro is far too easy.

Amazing how they can track everything that goes on in the online games. So I guess when they make changes, it's for good reason.

True but at the same time I don't have to initially be entirely happy about it.

I will probably get used to thew new way by the time they make the fix available. I bet that's what they are hoping for and why they are waiting for the start of the season. By then most of us will have completed an entire Madden season or more under the new controls.

Agreed, just good to know there's a reason behind the move and it's just not change for the sake of change.
