We've had Sprint for 5 years and never had any problems with coverage. It depends on where you are. Every carrier has gaps somewhere.

The conspiracy theorist in me is very interested that this announcement comes days after the Verizon announcement. It isn't too much of a stretch to think Apple knew that AT&T's service was not as good, and tweaked the formula/bar appearance to mask that reality. Again, it's only a conspiracy theorist dream, but it does make a good story ;)

Apple will probably sell a Duct Tape patch with an Apple logo, and it will rocket to the top of the accessories sales chart!

You know it's bad news when it's scheduled on a Friday. I just hope they do the right thing and recall. A quick fix case is simply unacceptable in light of Lord Jobs and co's "you're holding it wrong" comment.

So glad I didn't jump the gun and buy the 4G. Stuck with my 3GS. I'm waiting until the 4GS in December/January.
