Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
Game has been sucking for the past 5 years IMO. Wish they would actually work on things, like the tackling etc. I like that the stadiums are nice and all, but I mean, it's more about the game. I'm tired of seeing the same three tackles for the most part.
Speaking of stadiums, wonder if they'll have the updated screens and party decks.
Please Madden has come a long way since sega and ps1 and ps 2 days. I play online only and it has made a big jump in the last 2 years. |
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
Ratings are so subjective. One person's 85 is another's 80. I just think it's fun to talk about. I know some people get all fired up about it, but it's really silly since they end up getting updated as the season goes on.
I agree and it's no more different than people projecting fantasy football players value before the seasons start. |
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
This is my biggest gripe with Madden, but I think it applies to the running game as well. On All-Madden difficulty, guys rarely hold a block, break a tackle or catch a pass. It's still possible to dominate, but it's so frustrating when your entire offensive line of 90+ guys collapses on every play.
So, I just play it on All-Pro. I usually win by a margin of 80+, but now it's more about godly stats and than actually winning. My biggest win was 150-0 (against the Cowboys), I have thrown for over 1,000 yards in a single game, and I have tallied 15 sacks by a single player in a single game (all on All-Pro). Anyone else have some crazy achievements?
Why dont you get online and go head 2 head against other ballers. Thats when you have to be able to scheme and call a game plan. |
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
Madden still best all time sports video game ever. The most realistic football game and keeps getting better. Yea it's not perfect but the online play is the only way I play Madden. We have 32 team leagues and we play a super bowl at the end of the season. The season goes for about 3 weeks to get 16 games played plus playoff games.
Anyone on PS3 my gamer name is skins26portis. Send me a friends invite and leave a remark that you are from warpath. We will need new players for the up coming league so if you want to get in its free just let me know. Hail |
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins

Never got into online play much for Madden -- too many people who never punt and then quit when you get ahead 21-0. However, my friends and I used to have ongoing battles in Madden and Fight Night and we got these 2 plastic World Champion belts (think wrestling/boxing) to give to the current champs -- 1 for Madden and 1 for FN. It was a lot of fun, because we'd always figure out new ways to flaunt them. |
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
finally, the saints player ratings are out. i was waiting and waiting to see how jb was rated. here it is:
NUM: 70 NAME: J. Brown POS: LT OVR: 91 SPD: 60 ACC: 80 STR: 92 AGL: 64 AWR: 84 STA: 84 TGH: 75 INJ: 94 SWG: 64 JMP: 32 RBK: 91 PBK: 95 i have a feeling they may downgrade him with the first update they do while they move him onto the redskins roster. just a hunch... |
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
Do only the online rosters get updated? Or can the game be updated to reflect current rosters for when you start a franchise?
|
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
all you have to do is get on xbox live like you're going to play an online game, it will then tell you that you need the current roster to play. simply dl it and save it.

He hasn't been playing in real life like he's rated that high.
Landry - Tackling an 80??? His Play Rec is right at a 61
Brennan - Accuracy and 84??? Higher than McNabb???? Just a couple of minor gripes. Overall I like the new rating system unveiled last year.
I agree that Landry is by no means a great form tackler, but he did have 78 solo tackles last year...
For what Haynesworth is being paid, shouldn't we at least get a stud Madden player? An 86? Seriously?
Yeah like MK said, if you move him to nose or DT he bumps up to a 95 or 96 i believe. |

Yeah like MK said, if you move him to nose or DT he bumps up to a 95 or 96 i believe.
You also bump Orakpo up to 95/96 by moving him to end. This glitch has been around since Madden 06 and works for any LB/DE hybrid listed at LB. I'm surprised they haven't fixed it yet, wait...no I'm not. |
Re: Madden 11 player ratings: Redskins
on the latest update, they moved ah to dt, he's a 94 ovr. if you moved him to dt yourself-before the update-he was a 97 ovr

I don't think it's a glitch, if you move any player out of their natural position their rating changes. They obviously see Rak as a better DE than LB, and Haynesworth as a better DT than DE. |
