I listen to the Spice Girls in my car ... it's okay though, I hate on them in public.

Well, you know, I hate Nickelback soooooo much. I hate them so much I listen to them constantly, so I can keep my hate up-to-date. And yes, I have purchased their c.d.'s and gone to their concerts, but only so I can show people how much I hate them. Still, I have no idea why other people listen to them so much. Those people are just idiots.

Really not apples to apples. Bands are not competing against each other.

If you don't like it avoided. I dislike hip hop/rap whatever so I avoid it but I don't waste my time hating on it and people who like it. It is much like food; I hate liver and onions; but I don't go around bashing on it or people that eat it.

In all seriousness - 'cause I hope everyone realizes I've just been joking around - Matty's right. If someone says "NB is the greatest band that ever lived" or something of that ilk, it invites the "ummm, no they aren't". At the end of the day, it really is people just stating their opinions.

Except of course, for the Beatles the greatest, most profound band to ever produce music.
