Nicholson should be seen strictly as depth. Guy has potential, but that isn't saying much since we have a glaring need at S. He grows a pair and gets more physical with his play, he will contribute. MSU defensively this past season was somewhat disappointing to say the least, and he was a part of that.
And special teams. These are the rounds where you look to fill out ST and hope for an eventual starter in the process. |

Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7
Asiata is still there; also some decent NT's (Vincent Taylor, Stevie Tu'ikolovatu)

Cravens will probably pan out, but I am worried if he can stay on the field, thus is why I stated before he is for depth. Once Peppers and the other top safeties were picked, the FO did the best they could. I wouldn't get discouraged that much about this pick. He was a decent S, just didn't have a killer instinct. |

Jeremy Sprinkle

Solid pick. V. Davis can't play forever. PFF compared him to Julius Thomas. |
Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7
There goes Asiata.

Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7
Yes, solid pick.
We need a little TE depth. Our draft class is now sprinkled with talent. |

Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7
I think Sprinkle can potentially contribute in two TE sets in the Redzone immediately. He's a good blocker and a good receiver. He can contribute on Rushing and PA plays especially. He also lined up at Fullback a bit, so maybe he can also help Perine punch it in.

reed, davis, paul, carrier, and now sprinkle.
i guess sprinkle is the only blocker? |

lol apparently mayock bout had it with the show portion of the draft. Kinda would be cool to have him in the organization |
Re: 2017 NFL draft rounds 4-7
i would snag kaaya if he's still there in the 6th. i would have said peterman or kaaya, but bills got peterman.
some form of interior o-lineman also in the 6th. |
