Re: Bill Callahan
I bet Tomlin is checking his contract to see if there's a no trade or opt out clause in there. He cant possibly want to come to this dumpster fire.
The Steelers are change adverse which is why I don't see them making this move. Plus what could the Skins have that the Steelers need/want? IMO this is just talking heads talking.
Apparently he and Snyder have a good relationship. |
Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
There's an unconfirmed tweet saying Snyder's private jet was in Pittsburgh yesterday

Interesting. I guess time will tell. |
Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
If we trade resources for Mike Tomlin ... it better not be anything more than a 6th rounder.

Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
I hope tomlin would make a condition that Bruce has to go. Also tomlin coaching staff is solid, hopefully some would come with him

I would take Tomlin if no draft picks were involved, and Bruce was removed from football ops, and we had an actual GM that didn't love brown-nosing Snyder. Anything less means its same shit different day. |

Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
Oh boy here we go..they need to bring in a coach with fresh ideas, but I'm not surprised either!!

Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
Trent Williams for Mike Tomlin? Rather trade a player than a pick. We need those.
|
Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
Well let's see, Dan has gone with a well respected head coach, a college legend, Redskins royalty, a qb coach, a 2 time SB winning HC, and an up-and-coming offensive coordinator as HC now. It only makes sense that his next HC will be a veteran he has to trade draft pick/s for.
If we trade for Tomlin that would be hilarious and so Redskins.
A lot of Steeler fans would welcome his jettison. Most fans think he is a dud and only won his Superbowl because he inherited Cowler's team. If he is so so in a well run organization like Pittsburg there is no way MT could succeed here. |
Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
Callahan at practice

Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
Massively penalized team yet gruden never had refs at practice? That was a Gibbs staple man

Re: DHall thinks Bill Callahan could get the HC job next year
I figured he needed his own thread.
. @DeAngeloHall23 pod: "Coach Callahahan and Jay Gruden really didn't get along, to the point that Jay went in there and said, 'It's either me or Coach Callahan,' last year." "Don't be surprised, you heard it here first, if Bill Callahan actually retains this job, as the head coach. Don't be surprised." DHall seems to have good insight from inside, what are your thoughts?
So the Redskins will ignore the Rooney rule? |
