Like I said I think JD is regressing under this regime. He clearly has the physical tools. He needs a shit ton of help around him. AP has failed to do that in a major way.

I completely agree with this -- against the #3 defense in the league, no less. He threw for more yards and TDs than MVP frontrunner Purdy last night -- who was facing our crappy defense.

He’s 8th overall in the NFL in QBR.

Yea no article however Junkies and john Kiem were talking about it and all of them said Quinn said first down ? thinking the flag was on them ..think about it .. the scoreboard said 4th down the chain said 4th the announcer at stadium said 4th and now the QB and head coach said they knew it was 4th .. but i'm supposed to buy into they did not know ?? You believe what you want .. Yea they have made some mistakes no doubt but in this case IF it were true then the owner and GM would be firing someone today ... i'm gonna believe they knew it ..

Yeah, my issues with JD are minor and they mostly include:

1) Game situational awareness
2) Not sliding
3) Sometimes holding the ball too long


He needs better support from the OL, because what happened on Monday wasn't close to being acceptable.

The stuff JD needs to work will come with playing more football. Aikman mentioned it a few times where he bails on a play too soon. When he stays with the play he hits stuff mid range and down field.

The game awareness stuff is overblown. He'll get better there. He has Williams open coming across but threw it out of bounds. That is such a dumb play but fixable.

He also called a TO after an incomplete pass which was a back breaker because we needed that last TO at the end of the game.

You can see how much better Purdy is staying in the same offense w/ an elite coach. JD doesn't have that unfortunately.

Kinda expected. Sucks. His career went down the tubes after he turned 30 and singed a new deal. He can still play but I doubt he will play here again.

Why not just take the 3 points? That came back to bite him in the ass because it could have been a 3 point game at the end. He has proven over and over again that he sucks at game management.

Yeah that definitely looks like first down. Like NC said though why would he think that they would decline that??? Either way it’s worrisome. Especially after last week.

Anyway I am going to keep repeating myself that we go on a six game streak (if JD stays healthy). We have 6 winnable games after the bye. In this division we dont even need to win more than 3 to remain in the hunt. But I am going with 6 in a row. It will keep me sane until after the bye.
