You've got to be kidding me all the technology and TV's that were at the game and the technology and ESPN and all sports shows showing the clips and no one saw spit. Not saying that he didn't, but a loogie that big would have shown up and one of these sports shows would have found it, not a clip on the internet that can be doctored. This video is shit, but once again i am not saying it did not happen, but this video is not the evidence. Whoever made it why don't you make it look like Sean Taylor shit his pants after he got hit.

I watched the video on NFL Network. It looks even more clear there. This is not a doctored video guys. It comes straight from NFL films as shown on NFL Network.

This clip is from NFL Films, it wasn't a clip from the broadcast on Sat.

It's ridiculous to think the NFL would fake a video, what would they have to gain from it??

Its unfortunate that Sean did that, but....whats done is done....lets move on because we have some doubters to prove wrong.....when we unleash hell on the Seahawks....hes paid he fine, please move on.......spitting is very nasty and if he should do it again, then hes suspended.....but in this case the NFL made the right decesion....I'm willing to beat that Sean is a Hero in Saturdays game and we all will be spitting with laughs at the Victory...........

Furthermore, JG also felt he should be ejected and was not at all happy about that kind of behavior. Regardless of what action the Ref. took in response to Pittman's action, there's absolutely no excuse for any player spitting in the face of another. I wouldn't consider a player throwing a punch at me the same as spitting in my face. I would have done the same thing Pittman did regardless of the consequences, and I can understand why he wasn't falgged or ejected. This is a prime example of what happens when you have a reputation for doing that type thiong.

that video was awesome,it was great to see that angle and hear what the refs explanation was,does anyone know where that video originated from? it would be great to see other videos on questionable calls and hear what the ref is saying.

I know the thread is long but it has been stated numerous times that the clip is from NFL Films and was shown on NFL Network's Sounds of the Game last night.

Genius friend or not, the fact remains that the clip was from NFL Films. Who should we believe, a player with a criminal record with a court date and possible jail time who's been accused by multiple other players of spitting in the past, or the NFL, an organization with a long and illustrious history with no prior record of fraudulent video?

probably isnt but dont know, sounded like he was talking on loud speaker the whole time and i dont remeber the ref saying spitting when he first called the personal foul and neither did the comentators, also the secound ref spunds like a dumb ****. How come u could here the players asking questions but not taylor talking trash? That spit was pretty obvious how come ESPN couldnt see it? I just have a hard time beliving all that was said yet i dint here a word. I guess im also suposed to believe the 2 guy sfighting with light sabres on that sight, anyone can post any movie they want on that site and most r editing videos, why that movie files name is edit 29 wierd huh?

i think the punch vs. spit argument goes astray from "legal" precedent and more towards playground rules. in football, spitting is worse than most of the stuff out there. punching is bad, but nearly all players understand the retaliation to a spit. did you all see the reaction of the skins players when carey told them pittman only punched after taylor spit? they were like, "oh, ok" and they stopped arguing. even our own players understood why pittman wasn't punished.

outside of legal terms, i take spitting as a complete sign of disrespect. in a courtroom, a punch is probably going to be worse. but on the street, getting spit on means you're lower than life- not even a human being. and the football field goes by playground ethics more than common law. players getting tackled is a form of controlled violence, legal in the courtroom sense. but when it comes to a private entity, such as the nfl, playground rules are accepted by both refs and players.

now we still have taylor for seattle and i believe he's gonna bring it.

Have any of you played football? That punch did even hurt sean, he hit the helmet, he was probrally smiling after he did it. I would of swung at him too if he spit on me.

I don't care about the call and whether dude didn't call anything on Pittman for swinging. Hell I not upset at Taylor either he just an asshole and assholes do things like that.

i dunno if any of you have played football, but a hit like that doesnt really hurt nor affect u, i kno bottom line he "punched" him, it doesnt really affect u. i dnt even agree with the fact that he punched him it was more of a slap......bottom line is, that spitting on some1 is disgusting and uncalled for. maybe they should have penalized pittman too, but honestly if some1 spit on you what would u do...mike carey is definitley one of the better refs int he nfl. and we got a lot of calls going our way that game....

ITS A FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been talking to lots of people about this video and the best argument ive herd so far for it being a fake is of course the obvious one. Its an NFL flim..The NFL reviewed ALL of the footage from the game and came to the Conclusion that there was no clear evidence that Taylor spit. Now i know this sounds like a streech but thing about it why would the NFL lie about what they saw? i think its a fake....i was fooled thou. its so clear in this video that he spit dont you think the NFL would have picked up on it?

ESPN looked forever at that film i am sure looking for spitand they always said there was no visual evidence, thats an awfully big loogey to not be able to be seen in the film. Like i said before anyone can pst a movie on the site even lets say a seatle fan with good editing skills. (Havent u seen the R-Kelly video rofl JK)
Also i htink u guys r going to far by calling this player a "thug", he spit in someones face, hes not dealing on a street corner, or for instance pooling out a gun at mickey d's. You dont know what was aid in the trash cuz the editor didnt let u hear it.
