CLE can play upset and draft Ngata. BAL, another 3-4 team that would love a NT, likes him too.

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

I'm going to force myself to sleep because I just can't wait until we pick at #53 (around 8:30)

That Guy 04-29-2006 01:59 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

hmm.. #12 could be ngata OR wimbley, should have included that before

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:00 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Browns could go for KWIII. LOL Maybe the receivers will start going now along with a few more RBs should start going around 15 th pick or so

BAL is a 4-3, they switched before the start of last year.

Cleveland and Baltimore trade

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:01 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

trade #12 and #13 picks? ravens did it to pre-empt the eagles and get ngata.

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:01 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Ngata could go now

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:01 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

browns got a free pick and take wimbley... they could try it again for someone wanting bunkley, but i doubt the eagles bite now.

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:02 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

wonder what they got for the pick trade? a third round pick?

Skins_4_Lyfe 04-29-2006 02:03 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

I don't see the point in moving from 13 to 12, but then again I don't see the point in just about anything that goes on in B'more, not just the team.

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:04 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

10/12

13. wimbley
14. bunkley/justice
15. j williams/a cromartie
16. c jackson
17. c greenway/t hill? (not sure yet, could go RB or WR too)

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:04 PM

the browns took 10 minutes, the eagles were trying to trade up and take ngata, the ravens had to counter or lose him, and that's the guy they wanted.

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:05 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

so what did the ravens give up to move up?

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:06 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

6th rounder picked up, but its still something for nothing.

Big C 04-29-2006 02:06 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

they got a 6th round pick...bad trade if u ask me. 6th round isnt much to move up a spot in the mid first round i dont think

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread
I just hate this waiting. maybe they should change it to no more than 10 mins to pick..Never know though me might pull a quick one and make a trade with pitt or atleast someone late in the first round..hmm Deja Vu?
Just don't trade next years #1!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:08 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

i think good trade for browns if they werent targeting ngata

Good Baltimore is good for something...throw the eagles off course...but they seem to always draft well...I hope they don't this year.

Right...but we'll still have to wait for a while next year because the team that wins the Super Bowl picks last.

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:10 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

browns must be trying to move down again. savage has made a lot of trades in the past, and he's NEVER moved up. always down, and frequently.

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:10 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

hmmm if we keep trading next years #1 pick though we will always pick in the first round though... say we trade next years 1st round pick to pick in 1st round this yr... next year we trade our 08s first round to pick in the 1st round next year , so on and so on.... cuz when we win the SB next year our 1st round pick will be the last in round 1..

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:12 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

best players left:
OT justice
DE/OLB wimbley
CB tye hill
OLB c greenway
WR c jackson

Someone draft Chad Jackson before PHI does.

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:13 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

How much longer before the first Receiver is picked? i say in the next few picks

Good strategy...I don't see how we could even afford a first round pick with all our offseason signings, but Snyder always seems to find a way.

So, Is Philly going to take Lendale White or go DT?

Has there ever been a Fla receiver who pans out?

Wimbley before Lawson?

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:15 PM

Yeah Taylor Jacobs...panned out real well

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:16 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

11/13

15. j williams/a cromartie/tye hill (maybe bunkley?)
16. c jackson/s holmes

If we do trade up and get a first round pick Dan Snyder will work it out.. some players will rework their contracts...someone cut.. etc..

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:17 PM
Wimbley before Lawson?
yeah, he's rated much higher. #14 overall vs #22.

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:18 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Iggles up next.. lets trade with them give them Jacobs and our second for their first lol

Skins_4_Lyfe 04-29-2006 02:18 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Sh!t...Philly is on the clock, I hope they don't get one of the WRs...whoever they pick the Eagle fans will boo.

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Is Ernie Sims that good?

81forHOF 04-29-2006 02:19 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Wimbley.......Cleveland would have been better off taken Ngata when they had the chance!

Does any team have worse draft luck than the Browns? (couch, c.brown, wnslow, edwards....if they don't suck they get hurt!)

That Guy 04-29-2006 02:19 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

bunkley is the preferred pick, but OT or WR are possible.

Darrell_Green_28 04-29-2006 02:19 PM

Re: Official 2006 NFL Draft Thread

Hmm what about QB for them... McNabb hasnt looked good and whos their backup anyways?
