Clearly, we were too stupid to also trade Portis for Gore. It's easy to see that Gore is way better than Portis.

If i was a SF fan i think i would shut up. The 49ers are awful and philly wore that ass out last weekend. they are several several years from the playoffs and honestly when was the last time they won a playoff game? but better yet what happened the last time they played the skins? i know it was ugly. The 49er defense make our offense look like a pro team playing a high school team and there coach mike nolan is awful. He is a redskin reject.

there are 4-6 fairly easy wins (ari, stl, sf) in that division, depending on which team you want to talk about, so padding a W-L record to get into the playoffs is much easier there (or in the NFC north) than it is here.

I really don't know who will have the better career out of Campbell or Smitty since Jason has been sitting since he was drafted. But yes Alex has been much better besides the KC game which I give him a pass because he was getting hit all day. I guess the 2005 Oline decided to show up?

Hopefully the Raiders are just what the doctor ordered, but I'm still worried about Moss and his big play potential, even though he hasn't seemed to be trying very much lately. Lamant Jordan can be a bruiser and our defense may be worse than their offensive line is.

An advantage that we have is Norv Turner. He knows their personnel and hopefully he can exploit them.

The 49ers troubles this season have been different than seasons past IMO. The last two years, we were just getting straight up beat, but this year I think our own mental mistakes have been the downfall more than anything. Our offense is fine IMO, one horrible game against a good defense doesn't make me think otherwise but our defense is complete crap. The 2007 draft should be at least 75% defense and then we will be a much improved footballl team.

He seems to move in the pocket well, and throws exceptionally well on the run. He still overthrows too much and just makes bad decisions sometimes as young QB's do. But this yea he has protected the ball much, much better and that is a very important thing. Why does he remind you of Shuler?

This year though he looks very confident, even to the point were he is smiling at the line of scrimmage. I think he has what it takes, that's my opinion.
