That whole drive was just handed to them with penalties.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

I'm just pissed because Cardinals fans are all prolly like "Man, Boldin is BEAST." Um, no he's not.

Why can't we get any pressure today? Classic letdown, in 5, 4, 3, 2...

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

That penalty on Fletcher was lame by the way.

I want to know what it is that makes these "athlete's" jump around and taunt others to make others look at them. Yes, we saw you made a good play, but unfortunately, there are several plays still left, the game is not over.
Doing what Fletcher did is unexcusable, he turned a GREAT tackle into a penalty and eventual TD. Maybe gibbs should fine him. But still, the question remains, why in the world do people act so stupid like that.
When I played, I scored a TD and went back to the huddle for the extra point. When I made a good play and gave a good fist pumping, but I never taunted anyone or acted like an idiot.
I was actually flagged for spiking the ball one time, and I never did it again.

I can't believe we haven't tried bringing some extra pressure on Warner. He's at his worst under pressure, you can't give him all day to throw.

we cant have a 3 and out here, need at least 1 first

We have 147 yards in total offense...

Yeah, lame by fletcher...he's a vet, he knows better.

Yup, this front four shit works all the time IF we don't get penalties.

The Skins have been called for some BS today.

Football is an emotional game. Guys are going to get excited after making big plays, the NFL loves to take the fun out of the game at times it seems. I don't see a big deal in what Fletcher did. Let 'em play.

I agree...but it was working most of the day...we shot ourselves in the foot on that drive.

I agree. Did anyone notice a lot of the defensive players (Rogers in particular) DANCING as they were backed up to their endzone on third down? It's 3rd and goal and Rogers is dancing like the whole thing has been decided.

Dumbass. It's no wonder Arizona went on to get the TD on 4th.

Hey cool, we finally broke 150 yards of total offense with about 12 minutes to go in the game.

5 yards. 5 yards. 5 yards. 5 yards.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

Sigh.

Why are we throwing SHORT of the marker?

Something's wrong with this offense today. It's not the offense we've seen over the past few games and its NOT the line, its the playcalling again.

TheMalcolmConnection 10-21-2007 03:21 PM

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

We BETTER do something with this. ST... time for an INT.

hooskins 10-21-2007 03:22 PM

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

No one can sit here and defend the playcalling today.

It is CONSERVATIVE like no other. Pretty much all runs, and NO deep passes.

Terrible, terrible.

MTK 10-21-2007 03:22 PM

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

I guess it's up to the D in this one. The offense just can't get anything going, we really need to get healthy up front.

But that's not "letting them play", the play was over. Show some class.

Barry Sanders was the best ever IMO, and he never did crap like that. Even when he scored a TD, he dropped the ball and went back to the huddle. He was true class, and unfortunately the NFL lacks a lot of class now-a-days. I think the NFL is dead on with those penalties.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

Our biggest play of the day was Randel-El's catch and run for 26 yards. And that one "big" play was 17% of our total offense today.

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

have we even thrown a pass moss's way today? cant get him back in the game if you dont,at least throw a wr screen to him

Paintrain 10-21-2007 03:23 PM

Re: Cardinals vs Redskins game thread

Maybe we need to start going into halftime tied or down, maybe then more than the same 15 plays will be used.

I think that's a clear reflection of how beat up we are up front. The few times JC has looked to go deep he hasn't had good protection.

They've hit him on a couple of screens.
