Listen, any bad thing the Patriots do is in the past. Just ask Bill Belichick. As soon as the Patriots do something wrong, illegal, unethical, etc. they immediately move on. Therefore, there's no reason to penalize them as they instantly move forward. They're special like that.

That's how it works, right? Right?? Guys?
LOL...that's very true. Good post.

I agree. The only really good challenge all year was the 12 men on the field last week...

I heard somewhere that Gibbs does his own challenges...not sure as to the validity of the comment though.

Portis is averaging 6.6 YPC so far.

10 carries for 66 yards.

What the hell are you talking about? What about the call last week with the twelve man on the field call???

Im sure your one of the people who jump back and fourth on the Portis bandwagon, depending on what type of game he has

HAHAHHHAHHAHAHAHA

dallas has a total of 2 rushing yards... ROFL

Why no call on the Roy Williams tackle on Cooley outta bounds?

GusFrerotte 12-30-2007 05:34 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys week 17 game thread

D came to play today. That sack and fumble just tells me we might have to switch priorities from D linemen to O linemen in the draft.

For real that was pretty harsh

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys week 17 game thread

Our pass protection really seems lacking today. I'm sure it has something to do with Dallas having a pretty good pass rush, but still...

GusFrerotte 12-30-2007 05:37 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys week 17 game thread

We are playing sound ball, but we need to look into drafting some good O linemen in the early to mid rounds.

Are YOU kidding???

Gibbs challenge success rate is more than 10% lower than the league average.

I'll let SGG tell you off about the Portis comment.

ARE doesn't seem all that fast on punt returns.

It's like watching someone run in molasses..

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys week 17 game thread

He caught it. It bobbled at the end but it was a catch.

Yeah, he tries to be too cute with the ball. I wish he would just find a seam and hit it.

That is a catch all day.. he had possesion and was in

jsarno 12-30-2007 05:43 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys week 17 game thread

what ever happened to ground can't cause the fumble? He has clear possession for a long period of time.

redskinz79 12-30-2007 05:43 PM

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys week 17 game thread

that is a catch no doubt.

Anybody know Caldwell's status for next year?? Id like to see him become part of the offense in the future

BigSKINBauer 12-30-2007 05:47 PM

he might have purposely not caught that.

poor play call.

Re: Redskins vs. Cowboys week 17 game thread

That throw and catch to Caldwell was AWESOME.

I like the playcalling on everything up until that last play. A fade into the corner or something would've been a lot better and safe from a clock standpoint.

Ground can't cause a fumble, but it can "cause" an incomplete pass.

Alright! 10 point lead at half! I thought we'd be up by more, but not bad considering the Cowpies played their starters and the weather conditions suck.

Good to see you too Js!

I was at a bar in Jersey and everyone there was cheering on the Giants and then all of a sudden everyone left and I was like oop, Pats must have won. I didn't really care about that game since I don't like the Pats or the Giants.

This game looks like it's gonna be a good one. Assuming that the Boys rest their starters in the 2nd half we should cruise to victory. Minnesota is losing right now anyway so..
