All around great effort, other than that first brain fart by Theo. He is playing lights out between the pipes! Ovy looks like a bull in a china shop nightly. LETS ROCK THAT RED!

what a soft first goal given up by theo, but he did well to bounce back and make some big saves. great win for the caps, hell of a performance.

The first 2 goals looked like he just gave up on the plays. IMO the second was more of a lazy effort than the first.

it's so f-ing lame that the crappy ass wiz lakers game is on csn hd on directv and the caps game isn't it's so hard to watch sports in hd, this game looks like it could be a barn burner about 7 minutes in and it's 2-1 caps

i was at the caps coyotes game on saturday and sat in the acela club level for the game. it had to be hands down the best game experience i have ever had at any live sporting event. it is basically a giant bar behind one of the goals, it was awesome anyone ever seen a game from there? if not and you are a caps fan do it, and get there early

ov8 just nailed a slapshot from about 20 feet right into the face of hillen a islander player, i honestly don't know how he got up and skated off the ice after taking a slapshot from ov8 square to the face

Caps looking good tonight. It's weird how Semin only shows up 50% of the time, but when he does...he's an animal. He's simply destroying tonight. Looking for game #7 in the row for our caps.

Just wanted to mention the historic win last night. First team in Capitals history to win 11 games in a row. Pretty incredible stuff.

Theodore played probably the best game in a capitals uniform... which was kind of a symbolic win in a way. All the trash everyone (including me) has been talking... and he bails us out big time. Huge win... We're #1 in the NHL once again in points.

Lets see if it carries over to the playoffs........

yea, that was a pretty awesome game last night. theo definately played as well as i've ever seen him play and knuble has been on a tear lately. the caps are on one heck of a roll. here's to hoping they can keep it going :food-smil

theo definitley looked awesome last night thoose two save he had back to back when he laid out in the third were great, it's real fun to watch a winning team, should be a good game tomorrow night i can't wait for sunday though trhat will be a great game on national tv before the superbowl.

i really wonder how the olympics are gonna efffect the team this year since they are on such a tear i don't know if it will mess them up or give them a much needed break, if they win up to the break that will tie the nhl record for winning streaks

ov8 just had one of the most amazing passes i have ever seen going behind the net then going through the legs of a defense men to backstrom who dropped it off to knuble for the goal i hope they get 12 tonight and make it 13 against the pens

Penalties are just awful tonight. Way too many. And our road PK is 27th in the league. Certainly room for improvement there.

Looks like Sunday's game against the Pens will be played despite the weather. I have easy access to underground red line metro, so if anyone has tickets they want to give up, let me know! It's gonna be a weird game attendance-wise considering the weather.

is the metro running i heard something about them stopping service once over 8 inches for above ground trains and the rest of the stops only have a train every hour

you see erskine nail thornburg with that left hook? that was a great game last night, it's always a good win when one of your guys scores a goal for the other team and then laughs with the goalie
