OK saw Justifed had a huge premier but I DIDN'T LIKED IT tought it was really stupid, atupid story, acting etc.. not for me.

South Park it's always great and the new sombie cartoon was ok but as of right now it remembered me to a cartoon that was called jeff and god or soemthing like that...

Another brilliant episode of The Pacific (DVR'd Sunday's show, watched it tonight).

Lost and 24 are kicking ass, too.

Anyone watching Justified on FX? Caught the series premiere last week and really liked it. Will watch tonight's episode tomorrow or Thursday.

My favorite scene was when they went to a strip club to cheer Tom up and Ron didn't care about the women but he was excited about the free breakfast buffet. The look on his face when he held up the bacon to the camera was classic.

The office is still ok,but out of thursdays nbc lineup I'd have to rank 30 rock first,then community,then toss up between p&r and office.I dont care for P&R that much because it seems like a spinoff of the office.Why are people talking to the camera? Its like all the frickin csi's,lets take a good idea and run it into the f ing ground.
The dude who plays Ahbed on community is funny as hell,extremely talented,never saw him on anything else before

Parks and Rec [I]is[/I] a spinoff of The Office. P&R is hilarious, after a so-so first season it's really hit it's stride.

Something is lacking with this season of The Office. It just seems forced.

I'll have to start watching P&R it seems. Thursday nights is basically FlashForward (though I usually watch that on Fridays) and 30 Rock.

i agree the office has gone downhill big time. i've only watched parks and rec a few times but found it pretty refreshing, although it wasnt that different from the office. community is generally hilarious, although last nights episode wasn't even remotely funny.

+1. I stopped watching 30 Rock last season. Modern Family is smart, funny and well-paced. The dad cracks me up every time.

It took a few shows for it to finally find its voice... but the writing is phenomenal and the casting is perfect. Agreed with the poster who mentioned Ahbed- the character has Asperger's and he absolutely nails it.

That bothers me too. Shows and concepts have just gotten a bit ridiculous. Another good example of a show that I don't really enjoy that people seem to love is It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, just a bit too over the top.

I think the office has been so weak lately because they have cut the episodes to half an hour. Earlier season's had more hour long episodes allowing for the show to actually have a plot.

Okay the one that I watched the other day (I don't know if it was an older one or what) the younger couple were leaving and the chick thought that she was getting proposed to when the guy kneeled down to tie his shoe. That was the only thing that was even amusing to me.

Are they all like that? I've watched a couple of other episodes (one shortly after it came out) and another recent one (though it may have been older replays on TBS or something) and didn't like it at all. The other recent one (I think it was another episode) they detained the pizza delivery boy because he wouldn't honor the coupon on all of the pizzas or something.

Yeah the episode you are talking about was from 2 seasons ago. I think it's one of those shows where you have to watch it from the beginning so you can follow along with the plot.

My two new show's this year are Modern Family and Spartacus. Modern Family is a perfect cast that seems to play off each other so seamlessly and Spartacus is essentially 300 mixed with Gladiator on a semi cheesy level, but is still addictive as hell. I haven't had the time to go through the over 130 posts in this thread, but is anybody else a huge Big Bang Theory fan? I just got into it a few months ago, but Sheldon is one of the funniest characters on tv IMO in years.

Also I've gotten hooked on Mythbusters. That would be such an awesome job because they do some absolutely crazy crap on there.

5.-[B]FlashFoward [/B]very similar to Lost without the island started very good had a slump i nthe middle but got me hooked again since it came back.

Kaley Cuoco is the only good thing about the Big Bang Theory. I don't think it's very funny, and the tall, skinny, overly verbose nerdy guy... Yeah, I'd like to punch him.
