You need to work on your delivery next time

Re: Saints predictions anyone?
So my opinion that he wasn't really hurt because someone brought up him possibly being injured is useless or not worth giving ? I believe I added that he wasn't even listed on the injury report which realative to the question/concern and is a fact. So you are right Dynamite that you can black out without having adverse effects or having a concussion. I ask you all if your starting Quarterbacks arm goes numb after a hit that he blacked out on; is that something that you would might want to check out ? I would like to think that you would.
So Matty I'll let it go, Buster You're Welcome, Dynamite I apologize for my ignorance, and GM since you're tired I'll turn the lights off and let you sleep. No more beating of this dead horse from me
You're a devout JC hater, we get that. And because of that honestly you can't be taken seriously. |

Are you referring to my "Dude he was lying" post ? If so then I can understand but then is it any different from the type of delivery that you get when one wants Snyder to sell the team or for Vinny to be fired ? Those are pretty much well accepted as a a passionate fan that want to express their opinions. I understand though. |

You see that's where you are wrong. I don't hate him, just his game. It's not good enough IMO. I just call it the way that I see it. If the man plays well then I will say it, but I cannot sit and say oh yeah he's just one play away like others can. I used to do that but I look at him as an NFL QB and not as the Redskins QB. Clouds my judgement. Because I point out the faults in his game that others let go I'm labeled as a devout hater. I only speak on what actually happens. I also said that he played Philly well Sunday and that he was a tough player but I guess that got lost. |

I don't think someone plastering Sell the team Danny boy across a bus and screaming it in every post is necessarily any more passionate a fan than someone who calmly lays out in a well thought-out post their reasons for why they think Snyder needs to implement organizational changes to effect change on the field. |

So basically about 20% of the posts are those calm ones that you speak of. It's cool, I know I had a lot of Caps in there so it did come off as the old cook screaming at teh kids in the neighborhood though

I'm not the only one but a post like I had can cause me to seem like the 15 year old trying to talk with the grown ups. From my posts you would think that I root for Campbell to fail but it truly is the opposite. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Saints prediction anyone?
Their SB bound. That's my prediction. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Saints prediction anyone?
Their SB bound. That's my prediction.
Given homefield advantage all the way through I would agree. But, the Vikes remain only one game back and that one loss was to an AFC team. The Saints have nothing but NFC opponents remaining so any loss would give the Vikes the tiebreaker. The Saints are forced to treat each and every game as a big game, which to us Saints fans is a good thing. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
On a neutral field I think the Vikes are the better team by a small margin.
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Yeah I give the edge to the Vikings as well. Vikings and Bengals in the Super Bowl
|
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
I got my Saint playoff tickets already. The Dome is gonna be rockin.
Get up and get crunk!! |

That may be so but the Vikes will have to play someone in the play offs. As much as I like Favre I think the Saints have the weapons to keep up with them and the defense to make Favres get frustrated in the pocket and throw some intereceptions. All you have to do is be able to get to him and rattle him a little. He starts throwing balls everywhere. |

When it comes to football what's the difference? Don't appeal, keep it real! |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
On a neutral field I think the Vikes are the better team by a small margin.
I disagree. The Saints defense is better than the Vikes, especially in the secondary. On offense the Vikes have the better RB's and O-line, but the Saints are slightly better passing team at the moment. So they are even on offense. The only other slight advantage to Saints is Farve is not a spring chicken, his shoulder is not 100% and he has not made it through the entire season the last two. Brees is younger and really in his prime, hitting on all cylinders. If Brees and Farve were to take big hits in a crucial game Brees would hold up better...IMO. |

really i think the are close but the saints are a little better, i love both of them right now and can't wait for them to go head to head in the nfc championship game, i think minnesota has had an easier schedule so far though vikes have played gb, bal, and pit, and pit won, other than that pretty week det, cle, sea to name a few saints on the other hand has played, philly, jets, giants, atl, car, miami and ne i gotta think neutral field the saints win vikes have a good d but they haven't seen an o like the saints, when the viikes played gb they were in game and able to move the ball fairly easily |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
47,000 more ppl till i get my Saints season tickets :)

Re: Saints predictions anyone?
LOL ! You're right saden, I do hate him. I say it, probably 5 times a day. I use "I can't stand him" more so than hate but I'd say it's about 58/42 hate to can't stand. That was a dick response anyway, he and his game are form Horrible Voltron QB that is Jason Campbell. Sorry I couldn't help it y'all but no seriously hate is probably where I am. Lets go get this win Sunday !

I still feel the Saints can handle them on a neutral field, and can beat them on any given day at Minnesota, but the Saints hold a very real advantage in the Superdome. That is why every game is so important to the Saints and their will be no let up or letdown. |

This is true. And the fact is that the Vikes may not make it to the NFC Championship game given a decent Divisional round opponent. |

And you were doing so well. Saints will lose at some point...let's hope it isn't at home in the playoffs. |

If they beat the Skins i dont see them losing to anyone else during the season. |

I agree. And I am not a delirious blind faith fan. After the Patriots game I felt that the game next week at Atlanta would be the major obstacle. But, it appears Matt Ryan and Michael Turner will both likely be out. That neuters their offense and makes them a shell of what they were early in the year. |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Skins have given the Saints problems in the past, the other games are very winable on the road and i just dont see them losing at home to Dallas or TB. Its the Skins or noone imo.
Who Dat!! |

Who Dat!!
True, but you know this is a very different Saints team. Over the past few years their defense only put the fear of God into us Saints fans. Now they are making life miserable for our opponents and their fans. |

I saw first hand what the new Saints can do as a team, coach Williams has done wonders with that defense and im sure he is looking to prove a point in this game vs the team that sent him packing. |

I heard thats what he does to brees after each win and that also explains the brown spot on his face. |

Because I believe defenses win championships. They'll have to run through 3 solid defenses to win it all while having to stop decent offenses (I am not impressed by the Saints defense). I got nothing against the Saints and would love to see them win it all but great defenses trump great offense every single time...it's the nature of things. As for regular season it really doesn't matter whether they drop one or not once they clinch the the #1 seed. I think they'll drop one because they'll rest their players. I'm confidant Sean Payton is not stupid enough to play his players the entire season just to be the second team in NFL history to go 16-0. |

The only packing being done with Brees is the packing of all the awards he keeps winning into boxes to make room for the biggest one ... The Lombardi Trophy. :food-smil |

:food-smil
Actually I would not mind if the Saints won the SB this year. What awards has he won? |
Re: Saints predictions anyone?
Brees has only been sacked 14 times this year. Hopefully AH will play as scheduled and we can disrupt his timing. On a side note..Rob Jackson has taken Jarmon's spot on the roster.

He won his third NFC Offensive Player of the Week this week. That is the third time this year and the tenth time since becoming a Saint. |

I think the question was about whether he has won any substantial awards, not just PoW. |

~~~~ I think this could be a trap game for the Saints esp after a big win against the Pats. |
I think this could be a trap game for the Saints esp after a big win against the Pats.
Every fan group since week four has called the game trap game. Believe me, this is the most important game of the season. Each game has been and each will continue to be. This team is committed to winning one for the city and the fans on New Orleans. Each and every week they are getting more focused and more deliberate. The Vikes are only one game back for home-field advantage. You are going to see and all out concentrated game this week. I guarantee it. |
