So technically our o-line right now consists of Levi Jones, Dock, Rabach, Montgomery/Rhinehart, and Heyer....with Jones and Rabach becoming UFAs in 6 hours.

Griffen at $2M is a bargain considering when he is healthy the guy is still a handful for most OL.
Carter is a good player but he has not blossomed or lived up to the $5.2M cap space he will take up next year.[/quote]

As soon as he tore his ACL he needed to go. That is a two year injury for a young guy, let alone an injury prone older guy.

I feel bad that Betts never got his payday after his big half-season in 06 but he chose to take the hometown discount.

Nope. I'm pretty bad about that, I usually browse the last page and look for information that was either quoted or just being posted and if I don't see anything I assume I haven't missed anything. In this case I just looked and assumed a bunch of people were talking about who they'd like to see cut haha.

asked about diff between pittsburgh and here as far as business.. pitts was more family oriented/stable

snyder = good owner, zorn was a good coach but didn't have what he needed to be successful

line play was the biggest thing holding us back between injuries and not addressing depth

At first glance, I am kind of mixed on that but several people said he had a good year last year.

I hope Randy takes the vet minimum and is back. Doc Walker has said that he has been preparing to play like a madman. I can't see anyone paying Thomas anything.

Are these definit cuts? I know of R.Thomas, ARE, Griffin, and Cartwright, plus Samuels retirement. I guess that leaves Smoot which I hadn't heard yet. Oh well. Out with the old in with the new. :)

I'm still a Mason lover and would like to have seen what he could do under Shanahan's offense but I'm also tired of him not showing it all the time or fumbling. I think I'm done so I'm not upset.

It's a new era in Skins football. I think all allegiances (including Brennan et al) need to be set aside, and see what team emerges over the next 2-3 months.

I would just like to see them part with the old dead wood. Bring in young healthy players.

does anyone else have difficulty watching redskins.com videos? my computer never syncs the sound with the video, it is very broken up. I can watch the same video on CSNsportsnet and not have any issues.

I have in the past, can't remember the last time that I tried to watch a video on there though. Wish that CSN could play it but the Caps game is on, bad timing.

I think the most sense is to ask Cornelius to be the NT with Haynesworth to be the DT. We've got other guys for the other DT and that's if we have a 3-4 next year. I'd keep Rock as a third stringer if he comes cheap, Carter eh whatever? It wouldn't kill me to see all of these guys go but Griff.
