I just realized the Redskins Mini Camp is this weekend, not last weekend like most other teams. So did these 5 get released without even getting a shot to show there stuff in person? Has there been any other team actitives this year?

that is not fair. Plenty of players have been waived by one team only to be picked up by another, and perform well. Only time will tell. I hope he becomes a great dependable receiver. Ive always liked watching him play.

I don't know, I think the Lions could have a halfway decent squad this year...I loved their draft choices...but it is the Lions. I think they can eek out a few more wins this year than last...which isn't much...but I don't think they'll be the doormat of the league anymore...that's still the Rams...and Cowgirls.

Cause Zorn nor any of his coach's knew what the hell they were doing. The Skins must have been the laughing stock to the other teams who had to game plan for us.

Yeah...teams must have viewed the Redskins as the ultimate idiots of the NFL, right down there with the Oakland Raiders. I am convinced that any team that wanted to trade/deal with us immediately put a huge markup on what we wanted because they knew Cerrato would be moronic enough to go ahead with it.

Same with players - "What, the Redskins want me? Add $10 million to my salary!!"

Look, I have a man-crush on Marko Mitchell too, but you have to admit this article is a bit of a stretch for a 7th round pick who was cut by both the Lions and Redskins before the first training camp. He's going to have to compete to even make the roster.

If you get to the point where you're invited to participate on an NFL team's minicamp, training camp, and even get to play in an exhibition game -- you've had your valid shot.

Anybody who can write decently can put up an article on Bleacher Report. There's no more credence to that article than any well-composed opinion on any message board out there.

Him getting picked up by the Vikings means practically nobody else wanted him since they would've been one of the last teams to be awarded someone on the waiver wire.

Doesn't mean that he's horrible, just that he's not necessarily the truth. The article at least points out some of his flaws, those being consistent with guys who can get it done in the college game but don't translate well to the NFL.
