The Jet fans are not embarrassed. They are happy and celebrating. They are a successful team.
Football fans that are putting down Rex Ryan and the Jet players for being loud and over the top are just envious of the Jets and have nothing better than to cling to the only negative thing they can find.
Take your Mister Rogers coach and losing ways some where else. Give me what the Jets have, a winning team and players that want to work hard for their coach.

I have to disagree. I think that people will look the other way on poor attitude and behavior in exchange for winning is a sad commentary on our society. You can be a great coach without being rude and condoning poor behavior.

A sad commentary on our society? Last time I checked football is still a sport...right? Some rivalry, celebration, smack talk and drama makes for good sports.
What happened in Arizona and the needless loss of innocent lives is a sad commentary on our society...not smack talk in a football game.

Yes, he can be a rather disgusting human being at times, but his relationship with his players comes first and it is their key formula to winning.

Rex is so damn annoying. But I have to agree with you. And the more I watch/listen to this clown the more I think he's EXACTLY what the Redskins need. Someone that can communicate and motivate players, plus instill condidence in an organization that clearly needs it. And that is what he did to the Jets cause they weren't shit until he got there. He is what I call a true players coach and you can CLEARLY tell his guys love to play for him. He's totally 100% himself. Not to mention he's a hell of a football coach.

Gotta be impressed that he's gotten a team with a real young qb to the conference finals two years in a row and they've all been road games. You just don't see that a lot in the NFL.

Yep... I'm not saying you have to be a "buffoon" to win, but it works for the Jets. And if it worked for the Redskins, I would be all for it. All I want to see is the Redskins win. I don't care about the character of the HC if the team is winning.

Guys wont play for coaches they can't respect. Rex obviously has the respect of his team.

He made his team believe in him and in themselves, and that they could beat any team in the league including NE.

For us NFL fans to point the finger at Rex's character as a person is just plain ignorance.

Right football is still a just a sport so why are we saying it is appropriate to use profanity on national tv or during interviews? I don't care if they want to trash talk and celebrate or anything like that. I coach XC and track and field and I tell my athletes that profanity is a sign of a weak man. Is there a time and place for it? sure, but on a daily basis and all the time it gets to be a little much. I don't have sour grapes, I have no rooting interest what so ever in Rex Ryan, but I do think it is possible to have some edge as a team and a coach and not be classless.

Thanks bro. But just to be clear, I am a Redskins fan 100%. I have lived in NY most of my life and now live in both NY and Fl. part time. So as long as the Skins are completely out of contention, I see no harm in rooting for the home town favorite. Plus it gives me a reason to talk some smack to Giants fans.

With that said, It has been exciting to follow the Jets and It's nice to see them finally winning. Beating the Colts and NE back to back was amazing.

It just goes to show that any team can emerge at any time. Hope our Skins time is near.

It was a great game plan and it showed that Ryan adjusted his blitz happy ways and was only rushing 3-4 guy. it looked like he played coverage to the middle of the field and left his corners alone. If there is one thing New England should do with all those draft picks is try and find a true #1 wr cause they needed one yesterday.

The last time I saw Brady look as frustrated as he did yesterday, was in 2007 Super-Bowl XLII vs. the Giants. He left the field between series talking to himself on more than one occasion, it was clear the Jets took the Pats completely out of their game.

And on the whole Jets acting like fools the Patriots mocked San Diego by dancing on their field they also where doing the Eagles dance every time they made a TD or big play in the Superbowl and the other countless things.Karma. I agree....Brady should be able to continue playing at the top of his game for a few years yet, it's the defense, made up of younger players void of the leadership they've been accustomed. Yesterday however, it was both sides of the ball that failed them. I agree with the comments made here.

I say more than that, especially with this upcoming draft were they have two 1st round picks, two 2nd round picks (one of them being the 1st one in round 2) two 3rd round picks, a fourth, fifth and sixth. They can a draft WR or two a RB, OL, DL, LB. They are stacked and pissed off!!

Was it me or did Brady look scared? I thought he had happy feet and was looking to go down even when there wasn't that much pressure. And Belichick was wrong for benching Welker for the first drive of the game. In a game that important, you fine the player, you don't bench him. I actually believe there was some rebelling with their play yesterday.

I get where you are coming from the team has plenty of years of good football. I see Brady on a decline in four years who knows what type of protection he will get. No QB plays well with pressure as he showed last night. I do see the team as a whole doing well. I wonder how much longer those Bellichek have left as a top football coach?

They were just beat to the punch on all phase yesterday. The Jets played inspired football and wanted it more.

Not even close. He's still in the prime of his career, the Pats have a young defense that will get better, two young stud te's, a solid o-line and not to mention a lot of draft picks. The Pats aren't going anywhere.

Interesting Smoot. I think the rest of the league is catching up and some obviously have passed NE as the the undisputed champs. So the window may indeed be closed (time running out) for Brady as far as winning another SB with the Pats.

Definitely on the downside of his career.

For years, Brady had such a great O-line, he could finish every game as clean as he started it. Now he's getting abused and it it taking its toll. Last game, he just started collapsing like a rag doll instead of taking hits. He's not that tough of a QB compared to others like Roethlisberger, Rodgers, even McNabb who took a beating and kept playing (wasn't bench for injury). Pretty Boy Brady isn't used to being hit. Belichick is trying to protect him with a short passing game using the slot WRs and RBs a lot, but he's playing behind a poor line and being exposed as possibly a product of a good system and full-time protection. Yes, he's one of the better QBs in the NFL today, but maybe he had a lot of help with his successes.

In fact, I think one of the main reasons the team let Randy Moss go so easily was because Brady just doesn't have the time and protection to let those 50-yard routes develop anymore. They needed to adapt the offense to a shorter, faster-paced game to keep Tom off his back and Randy Moss just wasn't a usable piece anymore. Proof of that is how there was zero drop-off when they let their top offensive weapon (of the past) go. He wasn't an integral part of the offense anymore.

They're one of the cockiest teams in sports. It's not always a vulgar-style of cockiness like the Jets or Steelers, but more of an elitist "we're just better than you" attitude, ESPECIALLY from Brady. That's why it is so satisfying when they lose.

Yep. I think 45-3 went to their heads. What little chatter that came out of NE last week (Kraft, Welker) was premised on a "we are superior" perspective.

Glad people have mentioned it already, but the Pats are just as cocky as the Jets if not worst. From the Jet's perspective it is mainly Rex that is cocky and the truth is it is big show. Jets know the Pats are a great team and it is just Rex living it up in the spotlight. The Patriot's elitist mentality is rampant throughout the organization. I am sure none of the Pats thought it was remotely possible to lose the game.

However, if you look at the Post season stats for the 2001 year, you'd see they were 2nd in points allowed for defense during that post season. It was a team that started clicking at the right time. The main staple of the BB teams has been it's relentless defense, with Tom Brady being the clutch guy that drove them down in the last minute to win the game or put them in a position to win. (ie..Field Goal)

To be quite honest, the 2005 and 2001 years they were fortunate to have been playing in a very craptastic division. Up until 3 years ago, the AFC East was a laughing stock, like our NFC West currently is.

Say what you want, but most of us Redskins fans would give our left nut to have records like they have over the past decade. (3 Super Bowls) Bad news is, they are going to get better. With 2 picks in each of the first three rounds in this years draft, the rich keep on getting richer.

Huh? What?
in the playoffs a great defense and running game will take places, of course combined with adequate passing game. But as Jets Qb proved, it does not have to be Peyton Manning or Tom Brady great. Just adequate.
Which why we need to draft more O-lineman and defense. Draft a top Qb only if a great one falls in our lap. Unlikely.
