A grain of salt? Then why read into all of the other "rumors" going around?
What? You've totally lost me |
Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
diehard lost me too.
Anyway, workouts are workouts. Don't read too far into them. Shanahan has a history of drafting guys he doesn't even work out. And a lot of times teams are just doing their due diligence, and filing away this info for the future when these guys are free agents or are division rivals. |
Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
Here's a note. Of the players who were invited for private team visits last year, less than 20% were drafted by the team that invited them for a visit

Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
Well that puts in all into perspective. Leave it up to me only to think this thread was all about prospects the team was actually interested in drafting. I'm such a retard. Excuse me please.

Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
Ok so my question now is who all actually has been to Redskins Park for a visit? and who was on the list and who showed up yesterday for their visit? I know Dalton is reported to have a work out yesterday so did he show up? how did he look? and who else showed up for a work out?
All we got last week or the week before was Dalton and several other players would be attending Redskins Park for a work out. Who are the several other players? ... that actually showed up. |
Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
Dalton and Julio Jones were there yesterday. How they did I don't know
Most of the guys mentioned have been to visit already. Von Miller is today I believe (or maybe it was yesterday). Tyron Smith is tomorrow (or maybe it's today). Quinn is late this week I think |

Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
ESPN 980 has had ints in the last few minutes with J. Jenkins and Helu. Both sound like good guys...can't wait to get started......
I like the message Shanny and BA are sending out with guys that will be the consumate team players.....won't lay on the field. Most of all I hope with all my heart all of our new draft picks can kick the shit out of ESPN's clerical pool in the shuttle............ |
Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
So we essentially drafted one guy out of all the people we had visits with.
What's shocking is how many QBs we were seemingly "interested" in. |

Re: Redskins Pre-Draft Visits and Private Workouts: 2011 Version
Redskins end up with two players from pre-draft visits. Evan Royster (RB Penn State) and some dude named Ryan Kerrigan.
