If someone were to be doing that to the point that the neighbors know who they are and what they are doing than it has become the neighborhoods buisness. If you want to read deep, logical philosophical thought, NFL running backs are not your source. Their comments are often impulsive and reflexive, which makes them look dumb. One needs to translate what they say a bit in order to grasp at the intuition they are trying to convey.

However, I would wager that it is even harder to be old, black and poor.

Many highly paid Pro Athletes seem to be a little short on the realization that without the sports they play in, there most quotable line might be "Can I Supersize that for your today"?

I usually route a little more for NFL players who are have above average intelligence. Not sure why, I just enjoy the combination of intelligence and impressive physical ability and Foster certainly ranks high on that list.

I guess we need to know the whole situation, does he live in a gated community because if he does then they have all kinds of rules that they are supposed to adhere to. I am a white male living in West Palm Beach and if I try to just walk down the street out in the rich folks land by Rush Limbaughs house the police are there in two minutes asking what we are doing in the area. It comes with the territory when you are rich, yep just rich, not African American or White American or Chinese American, they are suspicious of everyone in the area. If you are gonna be a rich young guy you have to live buy there rules in those types of areas. Just the way it is, nothing racial about it.

I would say that there seems to be a bit of a dismissive attitude toward athletes and their mental capacities in this thread. This thread has shown various elements of racism, classism, smartsism (?) and probably doesn't have much legs left in it

I consider intelligence to be "how able and how quickly can said person learn something. So, I would consider them not very different from the normal population.

What they probably lack in is KNOWLEDGE of some stuff(in part due to time constraints).
