To be fair, despite the frustration associated with signing a bajillion WRs the first few days of free agency, they're all small 1 year deals for the most part, and they don't preclude the skins from signing players for other, more significant areas of need. With any luck, we'll get some OL and CB signings in there as well if we're patient...

Another way to put it in perspective... I don't think the sum of all of our receiver contracts from the last two days comes close to equaling Santonio Holmes' new contract...

We intend to line up 2 QB's, 6 WR's, 2 Centers and TE each play. The TE lines up in the center of the field and each QB lines up with 3 WR on a hash mark. Now, if we can just get the refs to give us two footballs at the same time.

Banta-Cain would be a decent (needs to be cheap) short term LB....if his groin surgery is ready for training camp.
