I really like Thompson... Draft class looks really nice so far.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Meh.....its a throw away season quarterback wise.
Damn....the rest of the team is quite decent, I wish we had made some kind of move for a real QB.

So does anyone have an unbiased recap of Beck's play? I caught the game on the radio for a while and it sounded like he wasn't doing that well.

JWsleep 09-01-2011 09:31 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Looked out of sync--but it's hard to tell how much was on WRs not running the right routes. Not a great outing overall, for sure.

Ruhskins 09-01-2011 09:32 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Did Torain play? Royster is looking good out there...well except for the fumble.

JWsleep 09-01-2011 09:33 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Wow--ROyster looking nice.

Hog1 09-01-2011 09:34 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

REALLY excited about the run game...even the backup run game. The announcers are correct. It will make some QB'S job much easier

Swarley 09-01-2011 09:34 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Royster looked smooth on that drive. Nice moves!

wtf.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Man, these third string QBs are sure making it easier on Shanny to decide to keep just two QBs.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Man, awful INT by Gutierrez (sp?)--2nd pick by TB in their own endzone. Not a good way to try to make a team!

Not Beck.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

These backup running backs are making it hard on shanny though.

Brody81 09-01-2011 09:35 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Man i would hate to be Shanahan. He has a lot of tough decisions. I can't remember the last time I've seen so many good young players.

no doubt, can a guy like royster clear waivers?

He would be gone.. I wish they would have expanded the roster.

I'm really impressed with MS & BA.. So far, great job rebuilding this team.

I don't think we're going to keep Clemens or Gutierrez. If we need them, they'll be waiting by the telephone. They can't really play in this league.

NYCskinfan82 09-01-2011 09:44 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

We can't get past 17 points.

SOunds about right. With all this depth, I don't see them keeping 3 QBs.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Hmmm Bruce Allen talking about possible trades. Could we end trading someone like stallworth instead of cutting him?

Bushead 09-01-2011 09:48 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Man. This Running Back situation is blowing my mind. Torain is such a hard runner. He played well last year. But can he stay healthy?

Ruhskins 09-01-2011 09:52 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Can they just stop passing the ball?

Hog1 09-01-2011 09:52 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

GOTTA' keep Torrain

Brody81 09-01-2011 09:52 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

I finally found someone i would cut...Gutierrez

rbanerjee23 09-01-2011 09:53 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

obviously i didn't see if the receivers were covered but it seems as though gutierrez made the situation worse by running backward. He had a really nice pocket there and could have stepped up and made at least an attempt.

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Two games were we passed 17 points GRREAT!

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Allen said the 46th gameday active spot is being looked at around the league as useful for a special teamer who might be a difference maker. Any guy on this team that fits this description (hmmm )

JWsleep 09-01-2011 09:54 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

Torrain is really making a case here. TOugh call on the RBs, no doubt.

yeah but if our Def can keep the other team to 14 or fewer we should be ok.... but i see your point.. 2 ints in the redzone..

wordsmithgk 09-01-2011 09:54 PM

Re: Tampa Bay vs Washington Gameday Thread

I think Stallworth deserves to make the team I have also been impressed by Gones

NYCskinfan82 09-01-2011 09:54 PM

We are leaving alot of points on the field.

And if we don't throw 2 redzone picks...

Even a late rounder would make sense
Hmmm Bruce Allen talking about possible trades. Could we end trading someone like stallworth instead of cutting him?
