Funny, how the prime days for both the Eagles and Patriots were built on defense. Now both teams defensive units are their Achilles heal.

By the way I owe a huge apology to the city of Buffalo. That team is for real.

Bills and Lions exorcising their demons. Lions are also on a 7 game winning streak if you include last season.

We all predicted that Vick would get hurt but man, he didn't even make it past week 3. Week 2 if you count the concussion.

Exactly why I don't watch club soccer.

"Hey man you want to watch the Chelsea game this weekend?"

"Sure what time is it on"

"7 AM"

"........wait what?"

"Yeah they're playing Blackburn, huge game. They're going to get revenge for that tie."

The real question is will Playoff Mark Sanchez ever replace Regular season Mark Sanchez. Guy needs to be studied, never seen a phenomenon like Sanchez's Jekyl and Hyde act.

This is why when I catch games they tend to be night games over there or the rare stream from South America.

Re: Around the NFL week 3

Sorry I'm late to the party, but perhaps some one can tell me if I got the idea down correct:

Skins beat Giants (only won because they had injuries)

Giants beat Eagles (Giants still injured)

So what does that say about the Eagles or Skins?

I really wonder how the media will be able to spin all this. At first it was the poorly injured Giants the Skins beat up on. Then it was wait till the Skins play a healthy team like Dallas. Now Dallas has taken a beating and if the Skins win all we again will hear is the Skins beat up on an injured Dallas team. But wait, the poorly injured Giants just beat up on a healthy Eagles team. Uh oh the media gods will have a fun time trying to figure out how to spin this crap now and still make the Skins look bad.

I had a hunch the bills would win, but still picked the patriots like the rest of america. Glad the bills won though!

Re: Around the NFL week 3

I wouldn't read too much into the injuries of the Cowboys, Giants, or the Eagles. Hey, if you want to go down that road, we have Jarvis Jenkins out, Laron Landry out. No Philip Buchanon and no K. Moore. Cooley has been hobbled.

Bottom line, injuries are a part of the game and the Skins are a pretty good football team.

I totally agree with you, but the media has played it as if the Skins have no injuries and the only reason they keep winning is because their healthy and lucky.

Panthers should have signed Portis. Last time they signed a Redskin franchise leading rusher and got a new starting QB they went to the Super Bowl.

Anyone else starting to think that the Eagles should have kept Kolb. Guy has a 110 rating on the year and more importantly he stays healthy.

Nope. Because a 2nd round draft pick is better than having a good backup quarterback. :D

Hard to argue with that logic, but I must say I love the fact that they placed all of their eggs in the Vick/VY basket.

Kolb has actually looked rather average this season. Pressure him and the Arizona offense goes stone cold.
