After a dud first half, Beck's football career ends. The Sexy comes storming back and leads us to a win.
I'm with you Lotus. However a DVR is MANDATORY for watching this team. If I had to bear all the commercials etc. I'd likely shoot myself.

How's this for psychotic? I drove 5 hours to see Skins-Bills and we all know how that went. This weekend I'm flying 3 hours to see possibly the worst football game in NFL history. I think I need to get a life... :insane:
Hey your just a real hardcore diehard Redskins fan bro. We need more fans like you.
I'm like Lotus, I want to watch every play & get pissed if I miss some. Even in 2003, as brutal as that was, I still had to watch. Even bad teams have a few good games that make it fun, e.g. the dallas game in 06 when ST returned the blocked field goal to set up the game winner. Great game, terrible season.

we also have new faces to root for & hopefully see our future, Helu, Hankerson, Hurt, Kerrigan. Maybe we'll add Crompton to that list by years end?!
I have watched every Redskins game since I purchased DTV NFL Ticket in 1998. I grew up in the DC area and moved from Oxon Hill MD in 1979 to Arizona. I have lived in the Los Angeles area for the past 24 years now. I'm a Redskins fan, I ride or die with my squad. No matter what our record is or who coaches our team I'm a Redskins for Life. HTTR I will be watching this Sunday.

I work Saturday Nights from 1800-0600hrs on the west coast. I get home and take a 2 hour nap before the Redskins game that comes on at 1000hrs ( 10am pst) Im dead ass tired but I have see my boyz play on Sunday. its has been frustrating the last 4 weeks but I'm looking at the big picture we have to draft our QB of the future in 2012.

I think we win
Redskins 24
Phins 13

By the way, how about Rex and Beck splitting first team snaps this week? Might Rex start?

I look forward to the news that Crompton is splitting first team snaps.

But, yeah, I would not be surprised to see Wrecks.

Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread

The Dolphins can score 2 TDs. We cannot. Fins 28 Skins 10 (Gano breaks record for longest field goal ever and we score another pity/garbage time TD with less than a minute to go).

The Fins had over 500 yards of Offense against the Pats in game 1. That's 3 games worth of Offense for the Skins.

I'll be watching and just hoping we don't fall apart against a truly awful team in miami... even though we're probably just as bad.

Doc Walker had been hinting about it.. it has caught a little wind. We'll see... even if Beck starts I think that Grossman will have his helmet nearby.

I don't think Rex will start, but I'll bet Beck's leash is extremely short today.

Wonder if Moore will be activated today

mredskins 11-13-2011 09:38 AM

Is Roy starting?

Re: Skins @ Dolphins Pregame Thread

The Skins start Beck and quickly fall behind in the game. Miami leads 17-3 at the half.

Mike Shanahan puts Rex Grossman in the game to start the second half. Rex leads the Skins to a third quarter touchdown, cutting Miami's lead to 17-10. Unfortunately, the Skins can only manage one more field goal for the rest of the game and the brief comeback falls short.

Miami 20, Skins 13

Damn. I'm guessing Beck wasn't improving at all in practice so they decided they had to do it. Well lets hope good Rex shows up today.

Undeniably the best QB since day 1. I don't feel for Beck at all, he just sucks and has no place in this league..

Hankerson should get some nice looks, offense will be balanced giving Helu more touches. The truth is starting Rex will give our young guys a better experience.

This just in: Beck has apparently decided to live a pious life, and go back to his old job riding his bicycle around the neighborhood passing out pamphlets promoting Mormonism.

I bet the Skins O looks good today. The Fins didn't prepare for Rex, not that he needs to be game planned for, BUT Defenses seem to struggle when backups come in, because they didn't plan to face them, and then the next week the back-up looks like dog-sh*t. Could be a similar situation today.

Rex simply has more balls to throw the football somewhere else besides the checkdown or just take a sack. That's why he'll do better, IF he does.

Who do you think will carry the ball most: Torain or Helu?
I like both, Torain was surprising last season but Helu has shown very good things this year.
