Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
Gregg Williams screwing the pooch. He's a shitty DC.
|
Why do the Saints keep leaving Vernon Davis in one on one coverage?
|
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
Geeeez.. should go to OT here unless they can put it in the paint
|
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
F it.. niners earned this one
|
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
Obviously Alex Smith has a lot of mettle. Holy smokes, what a game.
|
Wow. Stunned. Seriously how do they not do double coverage on VD there? He's the only pass threat the Niners have.
|
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
Gregg Williams should be fired after this game. The one guy you need to cover, and he continually left him open time and time again. (or single covered)
|
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
OMFG. The Saints two-minute mojo was outdone!!!!!!
The Tight End can no longer be considered irrelevant by ANY football fan with his or her salt(very few of those fellas left). |
VD cryin there. Good for him, he's earned it. What a f'n baller.

Everyone is asking why he would leave.. honestly I don't think that it would've been voluntary much longer |

Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
To everyone that said the niners will be one and done and Harbaugh is just a college coach, etc. WHAT DO YOU SAY NOW? That's what I thought.

Lol yup. Seriously with the Saints offense you really don't have to have an elite unit and he still failed. |

He called a timeout to give Brees an extra chance. Still a little green. :laughing- |
What a game
Alex Smith looked frickin awesome Who would have thought he would have led his team down the field in the closing minutes not once but twice We need to make Fred Davis the weapon Vernon is,but of course we need a qb that can do it Smith made some great throws right in Davis lap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Honestly who could've known before the season? What a freaking game. Niners earned it but you'd expect a more solid win from a team that was given the ball 5 extra times.. but we said that about the Packers last year, right? |

Are you a Skins fan or a Niners fan? I'm sensing abnormal hostility there :laughing- |
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
Denver has issues with power runners. Issac Redman owned them...and Aaron Hernandez just owned them.

He's from SF, he's biased. TD Pats! |

Hot damn what a finish to that game! Great way to kick off the weekend.

He's just knowledgeable about them. He's on the record here stating he hated them pretty big. But he does make it difficult to notice sometimes. ;) |

Too bad it is going to get boring right now with the Pats rolling. Ugh. |
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
I've decided I don't like Tebow. So I have to root for the Pats. Every time Tebow takes off on a run, I'm compelled to pick up the item nearest to me and throw it at my TV, as if that'll stop him.

Even if you stop him, on the third down he will rise again. |
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
We're seeing some amazing TE play tonight. Graham, Davis, and now Gronk. Hernandez ain't too shabby either.
|
I'll say I was wrong about SF they are a very good team and I eat my crow
#Hail to the Redskins |

How can the Patriots have two good TEs? They should trade one of them for picks. LOL. [/sarcasm] |

I hate the 49ers and now have to hear all their fans shit. I'm pissed the Redskins hired Shanahan instead of Harbaugh who I wanted and many said: "he's just a college coach". |

Redskin fans (me included in some cases) are horrible prognosticators. Almost the entire board said that Cam would be a bust, that Matt Leinert will have a better NFL career than Vince Young, that Michael Vick would never return to form, predicted that Rex Grossman would be a better QB than McNabb, predicteed that Shannahan would be better than Zorn, predicted that Josh Freeman would be a bust (terrible year this year but he's proven he can win and play at a high level, and come through in the clutch). Most were against aquiring Marshawn Lynch because he was washed up. We also predicted that Tim Tebow would be a bust. You see where I'm going here? |
Re: Around The NFL - Divisional Round
One thing is for sure regardless of what happens in the NFC championship. Alex Smith will be one of the highest paid players in the NFL next year. Who would of thought? They might even have to franchise him in order to keep him now he's become a hot commodity.

You live in the SF Bay area and understand about putting up hearing shit talk from 49er and Raider fans ( I don't mind the Raiders). That's what pisses me off, we could have had a great young coach. I despise 49er fans even thought many are friends. |

Let me know when he wins a super bowl. He wouldn't have done diddly shit here with this mess of a team that Shanny inherited. |

Excuse me, but wasn't the same said about SF? They'll be last in their division, good luck coming off a strike off season, blah, blah, blah. Harbaugh is good coach and motivator, he sure proved how to do it. Wasn't Alex Smith consider worse than Grossman? |
