Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
I wonder what Suggs' contract says in terms of off-season activities
|
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
That's great. Does an UDFA get any signing bonus or just a camp invite?
They get a signing bonus |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
Good for him!
|
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
To be clear, specifically to LeGrand there was no signing bonus or money of any kind from what I recall. It was purely symbolic
Most get a few (5k or so) thousand. Though the Saints just signed a UDFA to a $30k bonus which is way more than normal |

Who dat? Seriously, the Saints are a circus this offseason in every single move they make. Let's throw $30K at a UDFA but not pay Brees! |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
The Saints could have helped their PR by being the ones to sign LeGrand.
Yeah I dont think playing basketball is posing much of a risk. I think its cool they are finding a way to stay in shape. It coulda just be shooting at his house with family or something.
yeah or a 5 on 5 full court game guys playing hard and hes the one with the most to risk, it doesnt take much just some bad luck for an injury but if i was a player in the league i would try and train another way. I think Laron use to play basketball sometimes too |

The way the Saints have been making decisions lately, I wouldn't be shocked to see them offer Ron Artest a deal. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
Apparently Mr. Addai had decided he wants to play with Jabar

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
Lets go back to talking about how stupid the Dolphins are as a organization.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
Not sure I got it right, but I think Jacoby Jones signed a two-year deal with the Ravens. I suspect they hope they have better success with him than they did with Lee Evans last year
|
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
I had forgot about him. Good luck JJ.

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)
Uh what, how is the NFL docking $38 million from payroll a way of having the last laugh by signing a few free agents?
That's like someone kicking in your front door and taking a crap on your dinner plate and eating it nonetheless, yeah we showed them....Middle fingers up great. |
