Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
All colors in the show pretty much mean something. Notice how Walt and Skyler wore a lot of white/beige last night? I'm guessing because they are now "clean" and out of the meth biz?

Walt was dressed sort of like the first season only even brighter. He and Skyler reminded me of shady TV evangelists or something. |
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
My new half baked theory is that Walt it going to take the ricin himself before going on some kind of crazy rampage/rescue mission (maybe to get someone, perhaps Hank, out of police custody).
I believe way back in S2 when they came up with the plan to use ricin on Tuco they said it takes a few days to actually kill the person, so maybe his plan includes turning himself in knowing that he'll die in a day or two. |

Makes sense especially when you couple it with his returning cancer. |
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
I thought Walt reminded me of Gus the entire episode. He had this friendly calm facade, met with a business associate (and kept true to the store front persona, "Thank you and have an A1 day".)
Might go along with the theory of Walt acting like the people he kills. |

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
I think somehow Jesse teams up with Hank, and Jesse puts an end to Walt. Or something like that

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
One of my buddies thinks that Walt will fake his own death and go on the run, that's why Carol is so freaked out to see him again.
|
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
yeah, and it was a good catch up episode coming back from a break too.
and i would have liked to have just watched all 8 in a row right now too. |

have we ever seen Carol before that? |

I think so, was she the neighbor Walt used to check his house to see if the stove was on when he was trying to figure out if it was safe to go in? I think that was in season 4. |

Finally got caught up. Watched Season 5 in two days. Can't wait for the "say hello to my little friend" scene!

Totally. Maybe a little too nice... a few weeks ago, a Redittor from Australia posted a video of him and his friends parked outside of Paul's actual residence. He came out, chatted with them and actually took pictures. Speaking of Reddit, TIL the founder of Reddit is a huge Skins' fan and that's why there are more active Skins' players doing AMAs than other teams' players. Aldrick Robinson is on in ten minutes.. |
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
wow. just wow.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
Pretty tense there at the end.
|
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
I say Hank has back up coming and Todd and his uncle bit the dust.
|
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
Well we know one thing, Walter gets away somehow. I swear I thought Hank was going to bite it there at the end. Still could. Nobody knows they're out there so I don't think backup is coming, he was going to call in right before those guys showed up.

Meh who knows...I have been very under impressed with this season. IT all seems very forced. |

There's been some slow episodes, but I think the setup will be worth it in the end. |

Well the shit kinda hit the fan last night huh
|
Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
As much as I knew Hank was doomed I still gasped when it happened. I was so depressed by the time the episodes finally ended that I didn't care about the crappy Skins game anymore.

Re: Breaking Bad Season 5
For some reason I keep hoping Walter does something to redeem himself. I guess he kind of did with his call to Skyler at the end pretty much absolving her of any involvement. Looks like there's no hope for his relationship with Jesse though. It's all crashing down now... so depressing.

Yup. Love the way that was done. Walt begging and pleading and Hank just being a man. |

It's the little secret that no one wants to admit. We're all cheering for WW hoping he figures out a way to make everything right. Gilligan is really putting that to the test in these last episodes though. He might succeed where David Chase (Sopranos) never could and get us all to finally hate the main character. |
