The game has really been an improvement this year. Add into that RG3 and it's a must have for Skins fans.

i told myself i'm going to treat myself to 360 and madden 13 if i get hired on at this company i'm interning with. my supervisor requested that a position be created but i'm not going to jinx it. 8/12 weeks down, 4 to go, keep your fingers crossed for me.

Franchise mode is built into connected careers, you can either play as a player (superstar mode) or coach (franchise mode)

Played my first Madden 13 game tonight with the Skins crushing the Rams 21-0. Helu the player of the game with 169 rushing yards and 2 TDs. RGII had 1 TD, 2 INTs and 150 yards passing. Meh..

I don't like the weekly updates. I think they should do them every 4 games. Bumping guys up or down based on 1 game is a little silly.

RG3 started out at 83 and is only 85 now. Based on how he's played so far he should be in the 90s.

i think the main reason they do the weekly updates is to reflect personnel moves, but it does benefit guys like morris - though he only jumped up to 75. i think they do a good job of minimizing the weekly changes in ratings, otherwise morris should at least be in the 80s.

if anyone could answer about the franchise/connected career file size for xbox 360, i would really appreciate it. i'm thinking about buying the 250gb console while it's $250, depending on that, i may just get the 4gb console. let me know, thanks

4 MB for a career save, 4 MB for the roster update

the pc save files are well under 1mb, up to 9mb for an in game save. pretty small though.

Morris is still rated too low for the 3rd leading rusher. RG3 should break 90 this week no doubt.

i finally gave in and bought a 360 and madden 13.

i have many beefs w this game, namely the fact that you can't start a franchise (ccm) w a custom roster.

but i was also pleasantly surprised to find that you can stockpile draft picks, i haven't gone past the first preseason game in my ccm yet - i'm still signing and trading free agents for mostly 2013 (added some 2014s) draft picks, so far i have:
8 1sts
4 2nds
7 3rds
3 4ths
6 5ths
7 7ths
and a couple extra picks in 2014

my personal favorite trade was a 76 ovr fs + 2 2013 6ths to the eagles for their 2013 1st

2014:
1 pick in each round plus 3 extra 7ths

yeah in the PC version (lasted update 2008), you can only have 10 total draft picks at any time.

in my version, once you advance to the offseason it creates a random draft class... so save before and after if you want to make sure you get some crazy guys.

well, you can probably find the save file and manually back it up. i don't do consoles, but i'm sure it's doable... probably not convenient though.

I like the demo for the most part but I don't like the default camera angle they stick you with. Way too far away.
