So what? We're gonna have 4 RBs? |
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
Not gonna happen
Maybe not, but it should. Helu and morris should be our 1 and 2 if HT isnt healthy. |
I'm telling u Trent is a Beast
|
Good blocking by Trent and Garçon.

love seeing a long, steady drive to wind the clock down before halftime. just need to finish it.

Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
Not gonna happen
If Morris is for real, could Hightower be odd man out?
|
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
The colts arent good, and its just preseason, but the offense looks like they get it, rg3 seems to be learning and grasping, love to see that.

I think if HT is healthy he is too good of a blocker and checkdown man to be gone. Helu is too explosive, and Morris is playing too well to get cut. Royster is just average at everything and slow to boot. He should be gone. And i used to be a Penn state fan. |

Royster should get practice squad. But watch them throw Morris on there or something. BLEH. |

Don't sleep on the colts man, they could surprise some folks. I'm not saying playoffs but still |
I would like to see a deep pass connection. We cant be wasting those throws.

Hightower is the starter. Been saying since last summer Skins love Royster. He'll have first crack to start if not TH If anyone is the "odd man out" it's Helu. |
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread

|
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread

|
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
Man those guys got blown up in the endzone. Wow.
|
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
0-3 on deep throws, outside one other throw, RG3 been perfect. Really impressed with Alfred running the ball, gotten better as the game has gone on along with the play of the oline. Fred Davis had a very very good half. Tanard Jackson, Josh Wilson have been really good in the secondary. Front 7 been solid.

Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
i like seeing hall off the corner blitzing too
|
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
Silverblunt had a smoking first half as well.

More likely than not http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/48771-2012-53-man-roster-predictions-8.html#post930712 Would hate to see it, but team is leaning in that direction right now. |
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
Where are you watching the game? Most preseason games (like this one) are broadcast by the team so you definitely get biased announcers.
We here in the DC area are watching the game being called by Joe Theismann and Dick Stockton (I think), and they're clearly talking about the Skins more. It's like watching a Caps or Nats game with the focus on the local team.
I'm in Portland and I absolutely get rooting for your local team -- but as the Redskins guy listening to the commentators give verbal bjs to the other team is tough to listen to. Also one of the commentators keeps referring to the colts as 'We' as in "We need a long drive" which is a personal pet peeve. |
Re: Griffin vs luck game day thread
Im in Jersey and am listening to Theisman. He's very annoying.

Andrew Luck, say hello to Mr. Fletcher.

If RG3 works out -- shanahan will avoid the shut out. He will go from 0-3 to 1-4

During the game he is not bad. But when he starts rambling about non related stuff... |
