Ravens seem to have a pretty decent kicker. Doesnt look like they miss Cundiff very much.
Gano would've made that kick. Unfortunately, he would've been 50/50 last week. I say cut Banks and re-sign Gano and activate both kickers for situational use. |
Apparently we were ALL wrong about az

And Seattle. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
Holy crap! That INT that Stafford just threw was one of the worst thrown balls I've ever seen. It looked more like a punt than a pass...lol

Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
Niners and Lions game getting chippy too, lets see how the refs handle this one.

I think Rodney Harrison said during the NBC pre-game that players are pushing the limit with these replacement refs. We will see this happening more and more if stupid Goodell doesn't end this ref lockout. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
And another bonehead play in the NFL.

It's the owners, not Goodell. He's only doing what they want him and they value money over anything else. |

This blew my mind: Stafford is 0-12 career against teams with a winning record.

That's crazy. Certainly doesn't bode well for his chances tonight lol. |

Put him on a team that doesn't have the best WR in football and then we'll see how good he really is. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
At least Stafford got me some last minute garbage time stats and a score for my fantasy team!!

You still think Chicago is better than SF? |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
Could the NFC West be the new NFC East?
Also are the Saints playing just two good teams in a row, or are they just not that good? Are the rams who played us and the lions close, a wildcard contender or do they just competitively suck? |
Stl is a better team no doubt, and it's not even close SF is the best team in the league ATM. And yes that's with Alex Smith
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
STL was just pumped for this game. That's all.

mind blowing: Alex Smith FRANCHISE record streak without throwing an interception streak of 216. there have been several decent QBs in SF. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
The Saints are in deep poop, their D is atrocious and have shown it two weeks in a row!!

Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
Did Rexy get traded to the Broncos?

Wow Manning 3 ints on 3 drives

Bring back the real refs! That pass interference is a terrible terrible call.

Jack Del Rio just told the official "thats F*cked up" with a camera right in his face. I kinda love when that happens |
On a side note
Yesterday Fred Davis was straight awesome to this rams fan that was handicapped, so Davis goes up to this young man and his parents and gives him a hug, autographs a shirt and gave him his gloves.. now that's big time! Very touching actually because kids parents started crying, anyway just wanted to share because we get so wrapped up in the game instead of the actual people they can be. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 2 Style
good lord, this officiating is just garbage. they have no control of the game.

Rams players were walking around him and none did what Fred did, he came over from across the field just to do that. I gained so much respect for fd after that |
Blows my mind the Cards are the hottest team in football the last 12 games
What is even more mind boggling is how every game is close. Even the games they were losing before the streak were almost all close games. Its like they just figured out how to win close ones. I always say it wouldnt be the redskins if it didnt come down to the end. Jeez cards fans must have shorter nails than i do. |
good lord, this officiating is just garbage. they have no control of the game.
Officiating has become as 3-ring circus as of this Sunday. Players are out there being obvious thugs, penalties aren't being called properly and the penalties that do get called are nit picky (or non-existent). How the league can just sit on its ass and watch NFL officiating become an obvious and outright joke is beyond me. Meh. |
Falcons look really good
