Sorry, "our coaching staff needs to get a clue" is not the same as clueless, but it's pretty close.
I think I was merely pointing out that they need to take a page from the Patriots on how to close out games. Going conservative when you have a shitty ass defense simply isn't going to cut it. They did that on multiple occasions. |
Jesus. What a sh*t show the Jets are.
What do you expect from the fat **** clown Ryan's? He's a better foot fetishist than a coach. |
Today ich bin ein NOT a Jets fan
Lmao. Both my nephews are jets fans and told me today they want to convert to the Skins. I told them welcome aboard. |
What do you expect from the fat **** clown Ryan's? He's a better foot fetishist than a coach.
Dude i totally forgot about that. Kind of wish you hadnt reminded me. That whole thing was wrong on so many levels. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 12 Style
What is the rationale for it being a penalty?[/QUOTE
Cmon man,its very rational. If your out of challenges and you throw the flag, theres a penalty. If you call 2 timeouts in a row to ice the kicker, its a penalty{gibbs} Coaches should know the rules and act accordingly.I think it was Mike Pierra who said the same thing as me during the skins game, should be a penalty but it should still be reviewed |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 12 Style
What the hell Aaron Hernandez? The Pats put 7 touchdowns on the Jets and you can't even grab one of them? As if my opponent getting 100 points from 4 players wasn't bad enough.

Tough call, though, to not try to burn some clock to shorten the game. Not going conservative is likely to mean some passing on early downs, and that is probably not the way to go either... I guess I'm on the side that trusts the Shanahan clan to leverage what we've got to get a win - and you're not convinced (or at least not as convinced as I am) that they're on the right track. But that's what we do here, discuss our differences and celebrate our team. Hope we get to celebrate a while longer this year. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 12 Style
Didn't see the jets tonight, my week of picks was starting off great, I really thought judging by the last meeting that the Jets could upset the Pats at home since they played them close in NE a few weeks back with Gronk...boy I was wrong..

Truth be told...I over hype my "love" of the Jets here for entertainment purposes |
Truth be told...I over hype my "love" of the Jets here for entertainment purposes
OK, sure we believe you Smoot, easy to bail on the Jets-Jets-Jets after a debacle like that. For credibility, that comment had to come after a win. They did win one, didn't they? :) |
Sorry that is a dumb rule. Just pick up the challenge and review the play. No penalty needed
Or flag him but review the play and than u enforce the flag from the spot or punt. Throwing the flag shouldnt be ignored but it certainly shouldnt nullify a review. Your being punished twice. Dumb. |
Go pack go!

Re: Around the NFL...Week 12 Style
We're all Packers fans this weekend. A lot easier than rooting for the Eagles when they play the Cowboys, I gotta say.

But if the play is an automatic review (which was put in so that coaches wouldn't be forced to use challenges) the ref can't just come over and say, coach we are reviewing it, and pick up the flag? Very crazy in my mind. |

Re: Around the NFL...Week 12 Style
No Gronk and NE just keeps on rolling. They might be the most ruthless team in the NFL cause when they get up on you they don't even think of calling off the dogs. Poor Rex Ryan looked helpless last night. lol.

I may b the biggest Brady fan around here but I'm getting tired of seeing them win all the time. Hopefully their run will be over soon. |

Belichick is the kind of coach who probably said to his team before the game "The Redskins scored 28 points in the 2nd quarter earlier today...so y'all better score 35 or I'm going to start making some cuts" |

I've had Brady on my fantasy team for the past 10 years as I play in a 4 player keeper...so I watch NE whenever I can. He's just a surgeon out there. |

well whatever he says it seems to work. he looks like a miserable human being but players say behind closed doors he's not like he is to the media. of course it doesn't hurt to have brady slicing up the jets d. |

They shouldn't have never signed Tebow. A big useless distraction.

Wilson was the QB Shanny wanted to back up RG3. Wilson woulda been the pick in the 4th round if he was there. SS's boy also said though Dallas had serious interest and Philly woulda chosen him too over Foles. |

On a somewhat related note, interesting that Seattle is looking to implement more read zone and pistol offense with Wilson |

It's kind of crazy how Locker and Gabbert still have never faced each other. And who knows when they ever will
